Lore heavy eps like this one make me miss the animated series. It's amazing to see Green Lantern taken serious. I think Chandler is phenomenal as Hal Jordan. And yes it’s been shown in the comics even in the animated series that lanterns can hold form of there constructs without the ring but it seems like in this series it’s like an anomaly.

First episode was pretty enjoyable but this one was sauce. Too many WTFs and long pointless scenes. Almost like they're saving on budget for this one. Show; don't tell. It would be nice to see the canon events being shown in flashbacks instead of just talk. Gives it more impact. Not every DCU project has to have a CGI pet and pocket dimensions. Literally every single one besides Supergirl which only has the CG pet.

Underwhelming episode. Thank you for the reaction Jody because I fell asleep watching solo ngl 😂. John not needing a ring is a new concept I didn’t expect them to introduce, kinda bold to do that. Only curiosity I have at this point is which Manhunter are they referring to but time will tell.
