Funny thing is Sasuke was about to use this kirin (lightning) jutsu on Naruto sakura and them before orochimaru stopped him when they met at the hideout, bro was ready to merk them. So yeah the writing contradicts itself sometimes.

This is exactly why that 58 minute conversation about whether or not Naruto has extra buffs was so irrelevant to me… Sasuke has handicaps with his opponents, AND MYSTERIOUS POWER BUFFS and yet he barely brakes, even with his fights or straight out loses…. Sasuke is………….. Trash

🧢 If you honestly believe that, then you would have to believe Naruto is trash as well. I said Sasuke fights is not what makes him a great character (contrary to the everyday Sasuke fans), his story, complexity, motive, depth, as well as the actions he decides to take is what makes him a great character to this show. You not being able to see that shows your bias, and that makes YOU trash when judging these characters.

He only used the atmosphere because he was low on chakra otherwise he can use it independently.
