Korean age is kind of hard to understand at first , in simple terms it’s when a baby is born they are automatic considered 1 years old , then on the 1st day of the next year they are 2 years old . For example, jimin is born October 13th 1995 , the day he was born he was 1 years old , then on 1st January 1996 he was 2 years old . There’s the rule of the thumb , if it’s before there birthday, they are 2 years younger than what they say they are , if it’s after their birthday, they are 1 year young than what they say they are , that’s why sometimes the members will talk about their age now and say that they’re nearly 30 , but really they’ve only turned 28 . it’s even stranger for V because his birthday is 30th December 1995, so he was 1 years old for literally 1 day before he turned 2 years old on the 1st Jan. in June of 2023 Korean government has now changed it so they follow international ages , meaning Koreans will count their ages how we would count ours , but obviously because the old system is rooted deep in their culture , they will most likely/more than often still refer to themselves older than what they are (+just for reference in any older videos). Now the members in age order are : Jin 31 , suga 30, jhope 29, RM 29, jimin 28, V 28, jungkook 26 . Sorry that was long , anyone please feel free to correct anything I said , hope it helps

+++ also many people first assume RM is the oldest because he’s the leader , Jin is the oldest 👍 you have the hyung line (older line) of Jin , suga, jhope, RM, they are the older members of the group , then the maknae line (youngest line) which is jimin , tae,Jungkook

An additional note to the Korean age thing. Respecting elders is very important and central to Korean culture & language, there’s various levels of politeness built into the language. Koreans will ask what year you were born and not how old you are. Because the whole country turns one year older on New Year’s day; it keeps an even playing field all year long when showing respect. Otherwise it’s gets confusing with all the individual birthdays; for example, you and a buddy being the same age for a few months then one of you having a birthday and suddenly they’re your Hyung. You’ll also notice that BTS often mentions their year and having friends that same age, like V and Jimin are both 95s. Technically speaking you can only consider someone your “friend” if they’re the same age, if not then someone in the friendship is the Hyung and the other should show respect.

I have mentioned Suchwita so many times. You would also get to know Suga more. Suga is the most musical when it comes to instruments he has played the piano since he was young even has a song about it called first love. He also plays the guitar. He played both at his concert on his solo tour. If you are doing Google searches now they would be different than 3 years ago especially since they are in the military now. Korea use to count age you are a year old from birth and every January 1 you are a year older. If you were born on December 31st then January 1st you would be 2 years old it is strange. They just changed laws to start using international age I believe. Jin is the oldest he would been 29 there.

Lolll, they are chaotic and fun in run bts. There are over 100 episodes, you’ve only dipped your toe in. I think after 31 and up those are the best episodes.

Jody Koreans love spicy food, as well as Kimchi being served with pretty much every meal. You will find these 2 ingredients in most of their recipes. So next time you are in Korea Town, buy yourself some Gochujang chilli paste and Gochugaru red chilli flakes. Great for noodle dishes and stews etc. But also used in making really good dipping sauces, google a recipe for your next Korean BBQ 🔥

You guys should watch dance comps of the dance line and decide for yourselves who is your favorite. It can be a friendly competition. Jimin and J-hope are the main dancers , but JK and V are also really good. In my opinion, I like Jimin the best because his martial arts background can help him add more to choreography and also because he knows many genres of dance and excels in them all. Put it on Patreon only though so the crazy ARMYs don't find it because some are too sensitive to other's opinions.
