i agree the mics/mix was off for this performance. were you able to recover the reaction to eps 7 and 8 of monuments? i was looking forward to the reaction ☠️

Skty

The interviewers are actually speaking in Korean 😜. The male interviewer is switching between Indonesian and Korean. The female is a famous Korean tv personality

.

How have I never seen this video?? I forget bts has so much content I STILL haven’t seen and I’ve been army for 2 years

I think perhaps you don't know that they have several Japanese language albums (same as the Korean ones, but in Japanese) and they have fan meetings there as well, because Japan is a big market for Kpop. They were prepared for that. However, Kpop was not as well known and BTS was the first who got so successful that they were invited to tv shows and even got nominated and won Billboard and nominated for Grammy. They were not expecting such world domination and they were not preparing to speak English. Now all of them are learning and are getting better. (OK, now they are doing their military service, of course). Jimin was once learning English on the plane ride for 11 hours non-stop. RM was next to him and he was amazed and even told in a live to Army how impressed he was with Jimin. Jimin loves learning through watching Netflix (funny anecdote that he watched Boss Baby to learn). They also find English pronunciation quite hard so they are a lot more shy to speak. Also, you did not notice that Suga was not performing... :) It was because of his shoulder. Please please please watch Suga aka Agust D (Suga backwards and Daegu Town reversed too DT). I recommend his trilogy in this order: Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala. Love you guys.

It sound like they mics was going in and out

Lief

The sound engineer was way off here, especially V's mic levels are way low. BTS has actually run into a lot of bad live mixing by sound engineers throughout their carreer, but the boys are always singing. Only when they got their own sound guys at their concerts or shows, then it's 10 of 10 times always good.

Lief

This was funny! This is actually a commercial for the platform Tokopedia, the boys got a big bag from this lmao.

After Tony named Jimin, Chim Chim, it became a common nickname for him. You'll hear them call him that sometimes and we (as Army) call him that all the time. Also, remember the word Ddang (wrong), they said it a lot here. It's the name of a very special song by the rap line.

I'm considered a Dynamite Army, meaning I became a fan during the Dynamite era. The song got me through one of the roughest times in my life, when I was losing my dad to illness. There IS something so special about it. I'll always love it and love that you love it too. 💜

Mabelmoon

hi guys, this is a tv show which means the tv show has control of the sound. They are singing on top of the backtrack and SUGA couldn't dance/perform with them because of his recent shoulder injury. However he was able to participate on the interview and games later.

Jungkook💜

Nah fr I have never seen this and I have been an army since 2019 💀💀

I would also like to add that even from the last couple of years Jimin has been telling us during lives and even on Suchwita that he’s been getting English lessons. He does have ambitions to learn English. It’s kinda endearing when he thinks he’s at like a middle school level but you can tell he’s improved so much, especially during the Jimmy Fallon interview.

Bernadett

Yes, he has definitely improved!

Jodys Corner

Tight! I witnessed the origin of chim chim! I feel so included rn

Moon

They sometimes have backing vocals when they dance, like they have in this video, but they always sing live. Even when one of them have a sore voice or something like that, then they might get someone else to sing with them in solo parts, but they still sing live. In this performance the sound engineer messed up a bit with the mics, tae was singing normally, but the sound from the mic was too low.

At some point you guys need to react to the BTS dub videos from Cameron Phillips they are hilarious. Some ARMYs don't like it because they're sensitive af, but Cameron is a og ARMY and was a fan since they were rookies so it's he's doing it with love and most of ARMY love his vids. Also his dub videos give a good look into each member's personality in a hilarious and exaggerated way. You will bust a lung and yes it's kinda crude and has lots of inappropriate jokes, but it's funny and done in good taste.

Hey Jody!! Idk if I can request things here but I know you were a bit confused with sugas personality or you didn’t feel attached (which is understandable) so I’m gonna link this video here https://youtu.be/BvtFHIJugis?si=dJSkqg_FN7QFC8-p And if you feel like you don’t want to watch right away that’s fine! React to what you want to react to:) hopefully this helps!!!

WittyRD

I love his vids but there deff are a bunch of inside jokes and shipper type content that he may not get right away.

WittyRD

I think since the current docu series is done you should definitely watch Rise of Bangtan now. Especially since the disney one really rushed the beginnings of their journey the ROB series starts at the very very beginning and it’s perfect timing since you’re watching AHL too. It’s perfect for getting to know their personalities much deeper!

JJK_OT72025

I can't wait for you react to the rap line please thank you

Shakey

Hey Jody, I wanted to recommend some videos you guys might like. I'll leave the suggestions here with the links (btw not asking you to react to all of these. Just one would be cool but if your not feeling it then no worries). Bts Carpool Karaoke: https://youtu.be/T4x7sDevVTY?si=6AQczSZlde8e8oNF Bts Tiny Desk Concert: https://youtu.be/gFYAXsa7pe8?si=yHHgJNh12sberGgD Bts room live: https://youtu.be/RRhjdYsNwAk?si=_pm2XQpp7RkWCshq Some content of your baby daddy to watch is Jimin Legendary fancams: https://youtu.be/7ZPlgxZBa8M?si=upIXdrm2C895OhC- Everyone is whipped for Jimin: https://youtu.be/nJn_c7Wl7d0?si=Bz6TzZUnhqclASeR Also any of the Suchwita episodes with members. They've all been on there with Suga so you can just type in suchwita with one of the members and it should pop up.

Linda C.

Rise of Bangtan Series would be so good.

Kristina Deeds

Hi Jody, you should react to BTS' first show Rookie Kings. There are 8 episodes. I think you would really enjoy it. The first episode is one of the best ones. Y'all never fail to get a laugh out of me, and I always look forward to your content. Peace

D R

Yes I hope they watch it in the future after they see more stuff first. I'll recommend this later on in a few months I think.

Dr.Moon42

Whoever that shows sound engineer was should have been fired.
