So the lyrics of the songs has nothing to do with the vid in storyline. Like the wings shorts. There is a solo song from every member and their own video. But the songs were already made and the writers used it to expand they storyline. Like Jimin solo is called Lie. It's a very personal song to Jimin and for the storyline it is just used for his character as that he just told his first Lie. The BTS storyline is not a representation of the members are really going through. It's all fake a lot of K-pop groups have a storyline or lore that follows through the MVs like EXO they all are have super powers. Or Enpyen are vampires. The song Run is just about them going through it and keep running and pushing forward. Especially in their career. They were about to disband during this time. The song is not about a girl. BTS likes to make you think deeper they use a lot of hidden meanings. BTS storyline is so good that they have a whole tv show coming out about them.

(I’m sry it’s long y’all) lol the explanation the guy with the grey hat was doing was to the song “RUN BTS” I understand his confusion cuz they have the song “RUN” and the song “RUN BTS” (this is RUN) 😭 but even this one y’all are reacting to has a deeper meaning than them just talking abt a girl. And we know this because they have explained time and time again abt how they are telling a story with their songs. Which is why personal I like to recommend ppl to listen to their albums in order or I would have recommended y’all watched the fan made documentary on YouTube called “the rise of bangtan” (I want to clarify that tho it is fanmade, nothing is made up, a fan just took their time in putting together a documentary that follows BTS journey in order and it is really good for fans who weren’t there when every content was released) each of their albums tell a story. They start off with their teen years, the they go unto youth and the stuggles you face during your youth and etc. to give a general view over the meaning of this song is that it emphasizes the importance of enjoying life’s journey and refusing to give up, even when faced with obstacles, hense continuing to “run.” the road to success was not smooth for BTS and they faced a lot of obstacles and hardships and failures and they never gave up and kept “running” anyways I just want to mention that a lot of times just cuz it says “girl” does not meaning they are talking abt an actual girl, sometimes yes it can but in this case it doesn’t and this is something a lot of singer songwriters do. They can have songs that can seem very simple but have a deeper meaning. Guys there is a whole “BTS universe” that has so many extended explanations of their songs and MV that you guys have yet to get to and y’all always think we are making things up😭 there are a lot of ARMY who follow it and there are a lot who don’t. You don’t have to but to get a deeper meaning on certain things some people like to look into it more. It’s a personal choice really but pls believe us when we say it DOES have a deeper meaning than writing abt a girl, the MV (the extended one) proves that.

Jody Sad looked up the lyrics to the wrong song which was Run BTS. There's two songs by BTS that has the title Run in it. The first one is just Run that's the one you reacted to. The second is Run BTS which is more recent. I actually recommend you watching the dance practice for Run BTS and the live performance it's one of my favorites they've ever done. There's no music video for it tho.

Very understandable to get it confused, but there's the song Run and another song called Run BTS. Y'all looked up the explanation for Run BTS, not Run. I'm not gonna pretend like I know what Run is about but you have a right to your opinions on it. I do agree that some of the lyrics are not my cup of tea.

Yea lol y’all would be confused on what he was reading cuz it was towards a different song 😭but yea I mean this song ain’t for everyone that’s for sure, I mean no song is🤷🏽‍♀️. But the lyrics are not poorly written I can say that for certain but you just need the context to get it and you need to know what analogy they are using. I appreciate your opinion tho, y’all weren’t rude abt it and that’s genuinely all that matters to me.

lol like some comments mention he was reading the lyrics for their song “run bts” once u guys hear that song and see the performance I think yall will like it. It’s one of their more recent songs(2022) basically a song saying that they worked hard. For this song (Run) I just read the lyrics and I’m pretty sure the song its self is about a complicated relationship. Could be with a partner, friend, object, or self idk. The mv had nothing to do with the song tho. It’s their fictional story line that they started telling in run and I need you. It extends into more of their songs as well all the way up to about 2020. I agree with Jody tho that there’s meaning behind some of their songs that they simply don’t want us to know. I felt that with jimins album especially. He explained the meaning of the songs but in a very vague way like it was too personal to get into.

It's cool you can't like all the songs, they're also all so different. To answer you, I see this song as for the lost youth that just keep pushing and pushing forward in life without even knowing why or how. The "you" or "it" they mention could be about their tomorrow or future or happiness or dreams or succes. But it's open to interpretation ofcourse. A lot of the time they purposefully make songs in a way where it's based on their personal story but they write it in a way where other people can relate it to their own lives. It doesn't always translate to everyone. For me I listened to this during exam season, like RUN RUN RUN GO GO GO! hahahah. RM once said a vision of his is to write "the most personal message, in the most universal way possible".

I love your honesty reaction. RUN expresses the wandering of youth. If you know BTS' anxiety at the time, you can relate to this song even more. A song that makes me feel like I have to run like crazy. I love so much this song, RUN💜지민이 안무 미쳤다 지민이 표정 너무 소중해

I know this is old Jody, but the Run remix, the RNB mix is what actually sold me lol cause I can’t stand the original. There’s a album where they have smooth remixes. You’ll probably like “Dead Leaves” “House of Cards” is a dangerous track Jody lol. I You haven’t even dived into the old stuff like “Let me Know” cause ima tell your lol early BTS was trying to make love making music 😮‍💨😂.
