Guys when we tell u they all have something special they do😭, there isn’t anyone of them that don’t pull their weight, so yea I do agree y’all haven’t seen half of what Jin can do, he can go veryyyy high when he wants to. Even V, even though he is known for his deep soulful voice, he can go very high too. All the singers can sing high it’s just certain members sing higher notes more often than others (such as jimin). Y’all will eventually get to a point where u r not surprised how high all the singers can go and I can’t wait for that :) also in my opinion there is nothing wrong with saying u think one member is a better singer than another, I mean there is a reason Jungkook has the position as the Main vocalist. He is a great singer and is the most stable when singing and dancing. Even though V has my favourite vocals I have no issue pointing at how amazing Jungkook or any of the other vocalist are. People have their own favourite styles. Y’all should also check out Jin solo songs, live ones. EPIPHANY is a good one

Also Jody I do agree that Jungkook hand Jin have the most similar singing tones, (not saying they sound the same cuz I can recognize each of them by their voice easily but compared to the other 2, those 2 are the most similar out of the four of them)

Jungkook is undeniably the best singer in the group. Who ranks after him is definitely up for debate. I personally can’t choose, they all sound so good to me and have interesting voices which I love

Yea his voice is definitely very well rounded, and he’s usually pitch perfect by ear too. The others all have such unique vocals though it’s really comparing apples to oranges at that point.

Jungkook is for sure the best singer in the group skill wise and sonically 100%, he’s like a cracked vocal chameleon, but vocal tone wise my personal fav is V since his voice specializes in my fav genre (especially the sound/genre of his album) his baritone deep soulful voice and jazz go together so well it’s like butter on the ears

jody is right. jimin has the best vocal tone. that is something many youtube reactors who is also vocal coach have said so many times before. and yes JK is the most skilled singer. Jin adds emotion to the songs and V adds soul. it´s just my opinion and i like all of BTS but jimin has the most beautiful voice to me. and a lot of young jk solo stans have a very hard time, when a reactor says that. they are a little to obsessive and they end up hating the other members because they steal the spotlight from jk. but that´s the whole thing with BTS, there is so much to love.

Thanks for reacting to this! I’ve been waiting on this. Check out Festa 2021 too. Good stuff. Spring Day and Save Me. Top 2 songs for me. The lyrics just hit differently. Personally, I think JK is best overall. His voice is consistent and reliable. But, each one in the vocal line is good in their own way and brings something different to the table. What I love about them is that they don’t try to outshine each other.

Love how y’all recognized Jin in this one, he gets overlooked sometimes, especially early on in reactions but he has a beautiful voice. Also loved Eman noticing JHope/Hobi singing ( he is called the golden hyung - he raps and sings as well). Jimin and V/Tae definitley have the most unique vocal tones in the group. Jimins is very angelic, light but powerful. V/Tae is soulful, can be deep or high, and powerful as well. I used to get JK and Jin mixed up in my baby Army days too honestly. The more live shows you watch the easier it’s gets to tell them apart when not seeing them. JK is the most stable vocally, which is why he typically has more parts - if you listen carefully you’ll catch how often he adds adlibs into the songs, harmonizes, etc. he can do a lot technically too. Jin I consider as a base to their songs, his voice really helps holds the songs together bc his vocals are reliable and strong. He adds in so much emotion in his voice - he makes me cry the most when listening to his songs or him singing. Another great reaction guys 💜 I see Eman slowly coming around to your love for Jimin too

Yaaaay so glad you mentioned Jin he's so slept on. You should check out Crystal snow for some iconic Jin the song is so beautiful too. Jimin's voice is definitely my fav because it's so unique. But I love all the voices. Best vocal line in K-pop even though some would disagree 🙄Ah yes Jimin and Jhope are also great performers and can hype and keep the energy up. Jhope is also the TRUE ACE/ all rounder in BTS to me. It sucks looks play a huge roll in Jhope not getting the recognition he deserves. And BTS are not BTS without the 7. Each member excels in something another cant and it just makes for the perfect group. Also every member just has an undeniable natural swag. Omg the singing y'all did at the end 😂😂😂

By the way, V and Jin also have a duet called “It’s Definitely You”. It’s in the OST of the Kdrama called Hwarang which V starred in. V’s voice in that song is smooth as butter. It’s actually the reason that brought me to BTS. There’s a live performance, if you guys wanna check it out.

Jody, I think you are like Suga when he said in an interview that Jimin’s voice is his preference, he clarified that it isn’t about who is better, it’s the kind of voice he likes, it’s his taste.

Hey I am not a “young jk solo Stan” I am ARMY. I think all of BTS is amazing and inspiring and each of their personal stories amusing have helped me personally. But just as even the rest of BTS themselves do I have to give JK the props he deserves, if only for doing everything and anything and even subbing for the others which we and them are grateful for. To hear a BTS song is to hear mostly JK. In most BTS songs he is singing about 80 percent of the track whether that’s in the forefront or the background and that’s not counting the vocal guides he makes of the tracks for everyone. So, I’m sorry but he is vocal Bible for me and I’m grateful for all the members and not taking anything away from them at all as if I could, but I just had to point the simple facts, based on and relevant to your comment.

As everyone has said, I do think that JK is the most skilled singer and that’s probably just for obvious reasons dealing with his background and everything. But sonically it’s anyone’s pick, just based on taste. I was attracted to the group itself because of Jimin, I just cannot get over his voice. Then I went though my V and my Jin era, like his song Abyss wrecked me. But yeahhhh they’re all so great especially in those songs when you can tell they’re singing about things personal to them. Oh and loved the reaction. Keep ‘‘em coming. I’ll literally watch anything BTS related!

@ Tori I understand what you're saying and I agree to a certain extent. Yes JK is amazing but I feel like the 3 other vocalist are just as good as him and could also sing more parts and do vocals guides if given the chance. But they aren't given the opportunities. And Jimin also contributes to it being a BTS song having a lot of killing parts. RM even says it. So does V and Jin. When V goes low and Jin belts. When namjoon writes and suga produces. When Jhope adds funk. All 7 are needed to make a BTS song. Not just Jk. And you shouldn't take that away from the other members. If were being honest the heart and core of BTS and a BTS song is rap line.

Indeed, when you watch a lot of live and other videos, listen to their songs, you realize how great all of the 4 singers are. That's the actual point here: All four of them are unique and great, that's what makes BTS' vocal line so strong and distinctive. My preference in terms of voice (I understood you, Jody) is Jimin too, then V, his tone is just so soothing and smooth. Jungkook can sing like Jesus comes down to earth and as I said before, Jin is very good too, he has a very strong, reliable voice when they sing live, plus he can belt and hit high notes.

that´s true rappers are the heart. and vocal line should be given the chance to do more, but i think in chapter 2 we will see more of that. also they said they each leveled up in skills and jimin even take singing lessons for beginners because he never got to it.

Tori, when i said young solo stans i was referring to those army or solos who Jody was afraid of, when he didn´t wanted to post about his opinion on YT. and based on what i read many of these haters are young and obsessive and want jk to shine only. and when it comes to jimin in particular and the praise he gets. it´s almost always jk solo stans who have a problem with it. others don´t mind it. not saying that jk is bad or does not deserve the praise he got. because he does he is amazing, but so are the other members and people are allowed to have a favorite vocal sound and a favorite member as long as they don´t hate on the other members.

That’s why I hate when ppl say Jin is a bad singer because he’s not at all.especially for someone who didn’t even sing at first. He may not be better than every member but he is definitely a great singer

In my opinion (even though no one asked 😂 ) Jin has some of the most stable and strong vocals. I think the phrase ‘silver vocals’ describes his voice the best, Jungkook’s are also very stable and more versatile but I think soft is when he sounds best (I’m thinking strong vs soft as opposed to strong vs weak here). Taehyungs vocals are strong and the most versatile bc he has such a wide tonal range and jimin’s vocals are by far the most unique. His voice is like silver-lined porcelain and I’ve never heard anyone with a voice like him. Jhopes vocals are gentle and easy to listen to. I think I heard somewhere that he was meant to be a vocalist before bts debuted but don’t quote me on that.
