I'm first can't believe it!! I was waiting for you to do this lol. Its a BTS concert they all have solo within the BTS albums and this is 1 of 3 solos by Jimin. There are also subunit songs where it maybe just 2 or 3 members. Also vocal line or just rap line. You have so much to explore. You should watch the one that's not a compulations it hits harder lol he comes up in a snow globe !https://youtu.be/LrxgGtqo494?si=TdP4s-oPMeyDl-MK And then react to FILTER and brace yourself lol https://youtu.be/rBpBcLElRZY?si=vmtpPbeKb7AiSgXz

Jimin serendipity came out before kendric song. Same year though.

.

I LOVE that Kendrick song I never really noticed the similarities. Must be why I love both. I think it’s mainly the beat tho, I’m not hearing the similarities in the melody. This is absolutely a bedroom song!!also this was a bts concert, only Suga has had a solo tour so far

Po

Another jikook vid?

Zack Clarke

I do really enjoy this song OG and with jimin vocals its very pleasing need to check J hope airplane ✈️ out that's a vibe 🔥🎵

Po

Or watch a trio vid with v jk and jimin vkookmin

Lief

this from the BTS love yourself tour in 2018-2019... my favourite tour, i can still cry thinking back to the concerts. the setlist and the vibe and the audiences were just perfect! Also serendipity isone of my favourite songs of all time, the mv and studio version are just perfect. Jimin did some of the melodies and RM did the lyrics, and in house producer Pdogg did the track🤍 All the other members also had solo songs during this tour; Jin- Epiphany, V - Singularity, Jungkook - Euphoria, Jhope - Trivia:Just dance, RM - Trivia:Love, SUGA - Trivia:Seesaw.

Lief

Funny enough hahahahhh Serendipity by Jimin was released in sept 2017 before Love by Kendrick in dec 2017 . I'm just saying, when you go back into BTS' discography you'll realize they've always been just a little ahead of pop culture

April Forgue

Yup 2017 jimin was in July Kendrick was December

Fifi

Yea serendipity came out out in September while Kendrick’s song Love came out in October

VancityGal

Hey Jody, I need to tell you something really important. Please remember. Since you seem to have already watched the MV for Save Me (fire), I’m thinking Spring Day may not be far off. Spring Day is considered the Queen of all BTS songs and the MV (to me) is their magnum opus. The song was originally written by RM and Suga about friendships they had lost but the MV turned into a tribute to the victims of The Sewol Ferry Tragedy. You guys must watch the Italian Army’s explication video of the MV after watching it to get all the nuance and symbolism. Here is the YouTube link: https://youtu.be/FrT4a_Fw6pE?si=iQoCoa6-qZSMx9r0 It was released in 2017 and I believe to this day it still remains on the Korean charts. The way they wove in film, literature, theater and visual art throughout the MV to tell a story of greed, corruption and eventually the unbreakable spirit of the Korean people is quite something. I’ll warn you, it’s a hard watch but a necessary one to fully know BTS and their impact.

Fifi

I swear serendipity came out September no? If u look up in the release date is says September

Maeee

YESH love Kendrick tooo

.

Probably the full version

Ana

What the flip??? I did not get the notification for this 😩😩 gotta watch in the morning

Bernadett

Oh yeah Filter. I die every time. 😂

Melissa Torres

Its a bts concert..they all have a solo song in the set list as well as vocaline song and rapline song..this video is a stage mix of the different times he has sang the song..i love stage mixes😍

Gladeez (Gladys)

Loved the reaction guys ! the compiled performances u see here were all during BTS concerts

leat

jimin is so gorgeous his charisma is sweet innocent and sexy at the same time. idk how it is possible but it is. you should watch the brazilian army fanchant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peN_LHvmawA they are iconic for singing all the lyrics, even if they don´t know the lyrics they memorise it. this video is insane and serendipity is on it too

Mabelmoon

please react to the MV!

K

They perform solo songs during bts concerts jimin has not had a concert

K

One of my fav jimin songs

JKLS

Awesome reaction! Jimin is the embodiment of charisma. Also, all of his outfits on this stage mix were 🔥🔥🔥. He’s my only celebrity style inspo.

Xoxoree

I feel like Jody hasn’t been on Patreon in forever, also OKAY E-MAN WITH THE BRAIDS

WittyRD

Yasss! So happy you finally get to experience the masterpiece that is Serendipity! I also love that Kendrick song! They both have that sexy falsetto R&B vibe. There’s two versions of this song; “Intro:Serendipity” and “Serendipity Full Edition”. The intro version came out before the Kendrick song, it has the MV but it’s only like 2min long 😩. The full edition has an extra verse and that’s what you saw him perform.

WittyRD

Love that Jody just fully standing in all his Jimin bias glory. 😅 Gotta find your bias wrecker now! Who is EMans’ bias? I feel like I missed that or he hasn’t said it? Lmaoooo at Jody getting dangerously close to admitting he’s straight but if Mr. Park Jimin came up to him IRL he’d be fully willing to offer some very “not straight” activities. 😂😂💀

WittyRD

Yep they’re right the shorter intro version came out 09/17 with a MV for the “Love Yourself Her” album and Kendricks Love came out 10/17 on his “Damn” album. The extended version came out 08/18 on the “Love Yourself Answer” album.

Bernadett

Yes, that's Park Jimin for you/us. We understand, Jody, we understand. 😄 He once said in a 'self-interview' (reading written questions and answering them), that he wants to be someone that everybody wants. He said EVERYBODY, not every woman or teenager or whatever. Everybody... Damn, I'm pretty sure he knows his power and attractiveness and consequently, what he is doing (on stage and when being an idol).

Jodys Corner

Eman never said his bias. And as far as baby daddy getting the D,...... well, you said it. Not me.

Xoxoree

I have no idea tbh I guess because when you post on YouTube we’ve already seen it (besides the anime content which I love btw)

Jodys Corner

But the love single came out way before the damn album dropped on radio

Linda C.

I am old AF but when I hear this song an egg drops. Just sayin. I like this stage mix better than the ones I’ve seen before because they used a particular live track. Can someone give me the link? There is a video for this Jody. He did this during BTS concerts. During a couple tours they all got a solo spot in the concerts. I hope they do it that way for future. 💕

Linda C.

I was watching for this and it really helped a crappy morning at work! I am going to find some links for you guys.

Maeee

Yeee

WittyRD

You might be right Jody. I made that comment after I looked up the release date of his song cuz I didn’t know it off the top of my head. Every official site says Love was released 10/17 even tho the album was released 4/17? So I’m not sure whats up with the dates. I don’t work in the music industry or anything lol. That song is still 🔥 tho!

Ana

I just watched it and not you gave the sauce to the requests out 😩😂😂 And yes Jody Park Jimin is just 😩😩😩 he literally has ruined men for me . I'm so in love with him that I'm gonna probably remain single for the rest of my life 😂😂😂😂 and serendipity is my favorite song in general not just BTS. It's so beautiful and his voice is so beautiful. RM is such a poet with his beautiful lyrics 💜💜💜

Linda C.

Ty so much!!

Keyz J.

Jimins serendipity was released September 2017....kendricks song was released October 2017....I guess they're a little similar, but jimin did it first let's be clear.

WittyRD

Thanks Ana! Im not a fan of stage mixes cus they usually use the studio track and I feel it looses the live feel and emotion but this mix was 🤌🏽 chefs kiss! Now I realized why I liked it so much. Lol it had the audio from my fave bubble performance!

D R

I really love all the members of BTS, but Jimim is just undescribable. I can't put Into words how ethereal he is and how he puts me in a trance when he performs. He is truly special and someone who comes once In a generation. He just makes all us Jimin stans feel a sort of way. As they say " Once you JimIN you can't JimOUT lol 💜

Figgy

It says that love was the 3rd single released from that album

Jenna Pinkney

Can yall please react to On kinetic manifesto! Pretty PLEASE!!!

Carol from Brazil

You Should react to BTS' cover of I'll Be Missing You by Diddy & Faith Evans.

Maeee

Oooh yeah, love that song

Devi7

Hi Jody just wanted to say that march 9th is suga's b'day . So i hoped you guys would like to react to his song "Seesaw" . Or maybe you could react to one of suchwita episodes which is his variety show.

CaronH

If you are talking about Kendrick Lamar's song titled "Love", both Jimin's song and Kendrick Lamar's song were released of 2017.

Carol from Brazil

Are you not going to post anything else on Patreon? :(

Rozaliyah
