“People of Earth!” Yvy, dressed in a tight blouse with a tie, shouted into a microphone, floating behind a podium. “I have an announcement to make!”
Renner, dressed in a suit and standing behind her like a secret service agent at a national broadcasting center where Yvy had rounded up people to operate it, whispered under his breath while the live broadcast was happening. “Princess Yvy, you don’t have to shout. You can speak normally... and bobbing up and down makes your voice pick up inconsistently on the microphone.”
“Ahem,” Yvy cleared her throat haughtily, giving Renner a dirty look. “It is time for you to put your planet back in order. I want everything working, as it was, before I arrived! OR ELSE!!”
Renner facepalmed. The sound of him smacking his own face rivaled even Yvy’s shouting. He gestured for them to cut the cameras and ran up to the floating princess.
“Yvy! Please! If you want the people of Earth to... er... I mean, Ataxata to have something worthwhile, then you have to let our people work and live. You have to promise not to randomly kill people, that rules will be enforced, that people can work and produce and live. Otherwise, you won’t get any food or games!”
“Renner!” Yvy shrieked at him. “I know what you said! It is Nataxatan ceremony to begin with a command of what is to happen, before getting to the details! I know what I am doing!”
“Oh.” Renner exuded the utmost of confidence.
“And I can still kill people who break the rules, correct?”
“Well...”
Yvy smiled and clapped, taking Renner’s noncommittal statement as approval. “Nataxatan society is extremely docile and complicit. We love rules. There is no disorder on the planets we conquer.”
“Docile!?” Renner looked at the terrifyingly unstoppable girl with eyes as wide as saucers.
“Yes! Now, if we would let me get back to my edict as ruler of Earth, please!” Yvy curled her fingers into a little fist. Renner nearly pissed his pants and backed off. He gestured to the frightened camera crew to resume rolling. Of course, they had never stopped.
“You will live your lives like before. I will be the authority if there is any rule breaking.” She pulled out a paper that Renner had prepared. “If you steal or kill, then I will come kill you, no matter where in the world you are. Oh!” she was clearly off script now, “and I get what I want. The rules don’t apply to me,” Yvy sneered.
Renner cleared his throat and adjusted his collar.
Yvy scowled, her gaze remaining steady on the camera. “But I will not kill you if you obey the laws and work hard. I... promise.”
Renner heaved a sigh of relief. Yvy let the weight of her words linger in the air. It surprised even her, how momentous the occasion felt.
“That’s all! And one more thing: get my internet working! There, I’m done. Let’s go, Renner.”
Yvy floated away from the podium and grabbed Renner by the wrist. He dangled from her outstretched arm as she flew away. The camera crew, all drenched in sweat and stress, cut the feed.
The first thing Yvy (with Renner in tow, of course) did was to upgrade their internet line. After a visit to an internet provider, who of course had no clue about the actual infrastructure of laying internet cable and fiber, an angry floating Yvy demanded to speak to the manager, and a mortified Renner tried to placate her. After some shouting, cowering, and glowing eyes that incinerated a hole through the side of their store, the mismatched duo finally reached the engineers who knew how to build the infrastructure. When it turned out that the Capitol Building, now officially renamed the Palatialaitalap Hall, already had the best internet connection available, Renner found Yvy even more outraged and inconsolable.
“Renner!” Yvy yelled at him as they stood out in the street. Well, Renner stood, anyway. “If I have the best connection, why will no one play with me? I already said I would not kill them!”
“Just because you said you wouldn’t doesn’t mean...”
“That is not the issue!” Yvy retorted.
“Well, do you have anything good on your spaceship?”
“I do not wish to play Spong anymore!”
The two of them rapid-fire talked over one another.
“Look, Princess, you’ve completely turned our world upside down...” Renner understated, for the sake of his own survival.
“It’s for the best! Nataxatan rule is...”
Fuck his survival. “Princess, our world is in ruins! You just... look at things and they get destroyed! You froze hundreds of thousands of our people! I told you it takes work to make things run, and all you want to do is play games! And you’re surprised that people don’t want to, or can’t play with you?!”
Yvy hovered there imperiously, fists clenched.
This is it, Renner thought. He grimaced, preparing for the end. At least he wouldn’t have to bear the consistent torture of wondering when he would finally be killed. Though a part of him, a big part of him, would miss having sex with his alien mistress who had claimed him. He looked away, squeezing his eyes shut. His entire body trembled in fear.
“It’s not true,” Yvy’s voice was surprisingly soft. “Micah wants to play games with me. So what you said is frelling wrong, Renner!”
Renner exhaled the breath he didn’t know he’d been holding. He looked up at Yvy’s... pleading eyes?
“Who...” he asked with incredulity,”is Micah?”
“Someone I play Federation of Fighters with! He was taunting me in chat, so I asked him where he lived. He didn’t really tell me, but I just looked around the world until I saw him typing to me. So I flew over there and yelled at him because he didn’t back me up in the game, and he was scared at first, but then I guess I must have really made a good point because he began yelling back and told me it was my fault and it was so much fun! After I used him for my relief, he told me he would play with me again.”
Renner was flabbergasted. He didn’t know how to process all of that. Wait... relief?
“Princess? You... had sex with him?”
“Yes, he was so cute. Renner! Are you... jealous?” Yvy looked at him with a mischievous smirk.
“What!? No! It’s just... that...”
“You are jealous! I can hear it in your heartbeat. I can smell it on you! Just like I knew how badly Micah needed relief after spending a few minutes around me!” Yvy clapped her hands excitedly. “So it’s working!”
“Wha...?” Renner gulped. It seemed there was no use denying it. He was naked before Yvy, whenever she wanted, literally or metaphorically.
“Don’t worry, Renner. You have nothing to be jealous of.” Yvy winked at him.
Renner gulped again. The bulge in his pants was growing uncomfortable.
Yvy covered her mouth and giggled like an over-excited child as she looked through his pants with her x-ray vision. “Not now, Renner. We are not done talking. But I will give you relief after.”
Renner’s member was now at full attention.
“Anyway, Micah hasn’t been able to connect to my games in Federation of Fighters even though the ‘internet’ is the best Earth has to offer. They weren’t lying,” Yvy confirmed matter-of-factly to Renner. Somehow this girl proved to be more terrifying day by day, even when it was something as subtle as reading human emotion. And this was after seeing her decimate Earth’s forces.
“Well... he would have to have good internet too. In fact, I bet a lot of infrastructure is messed up now,” Renner explained.
“Oh! You mean... the internet is not just one thing?”
“What? I’m not sure what you’re saying.”
“Renner! Explain your primitive Earth technology to me from the beginning!” Yvy demanded.
“It’s not like I know how everything works, but everyone has to connect to the internet. And if someone is far away, or their erm... cable... isn’t as advanced, then they might have a bad connection to you.”
“Renner! You are telling me that the internet is not just one universal thing in your Earth aetherehtea?! Earth aetherehtea...” Yvy muttered to herself, trying to work something out in her pretty little head. She held both her hands up, and started folding her outer fingers on opposite hands down at the same time.
“Aether?” Renner tried to correct her.
“Never mind! It’s the thing that Ataxata uses to send messages. It connects all of our technology, our spaceships.”
Renner shook his head. “I don’t know how your Nataxatan technology works, but it’s different here. Everyone has to connect to each other through infrastructure, and the quality of everyone’s connection is distinct.” Then, Renner had an idea. If he could guide Yvy’s desire to be entertained and combine it with her unrivalled physical prowess... “Princess, I have an idea. Why don’t we set up Micah, and even the whole world, with good internet? With your incredible powers, you could help. That might help the people of Earth live and restore normality. And in the meantime, could we perhaps get scientists to examine your Aether-eh-tea?”
Yvy looked at Renner, not for the first time, as if he was some sort of genius. She flew down to give him a nearly spine-shattering hug, lifting him off his feet.
“Renner! I will do it! Now, where would you like to seek relief?” Yvy gazed deeply into his eyes. Their thoughtful conversation had caused his erection to subside, but Yvy’s desire was molten hot now. She rubbed his chest over her protruding breasts, grinding him up and down, forcing his body to respond.
And respond it did.
“Unnnng...” Renner closed his eyes as he felt his orgasm about to burst.
“Oops! It’s working too well!” Yvy giggled, squeezing Renner tight as his dam burst, and he soaked his pants. “But there’s plenty more where that came from!”
“N-no way...” Renner felt severe embarrassment from his premature ejaculation. The emotional roller coaster was taking its toll too, and his eyes were getting droopy.
He felt the wind rushing past them as Yvy took off with him still wrapped in her arms.
