I've got news! And views! and am mostly confuse!

First off, book one is getting its final word revision this month and I'm pushing to finish it before the end of the year. Probably a bit ambitious, but I'm going on vacation on the 30th and would like that said and done before then so I can totally relax without thinking "man, I should really be writing" while I'm supposed to be not writing.

A few big changes are coming to the first book, I'll go into more detail once it's finished, but to list a few

More details left to the reader to understand on their own instead of being told directly
A bad character is being replaced with one that fits into the world more naturally, and gives a better impression of it.
No more video game words. We only speak in the tongue of our fleshfathers before us.

A full list of just about everything that changes will be added with the post with the new version's download.

Book 2 is on a tiny hold for now while I finish this up, but expect new chapters to come in January. That's a promise. I'll do both at the same time, I don't give a shit. I'm raw as fuck.

Second off ART IS HAPPENS!
Commissioned character designs I ordered a few months back are getting finished If you follow me on Twitter and Tumblr you may have seen the first one. It's a well loved character that is super integral to the story!

Wh- Nick? Selena? Who are those guys?

I'm obviously talking about that nasty bird demon thing that calls Selena an "it" and doesn't bathe.

Liah'Vido was designed by the very talented Py-Bun! I love the creature and body horror stuff they've been doing with their large clown, Tatters. Working with them was a really fun experience that actually helped Liah'Vido evolve in design and character.

But that's not all! Progress has also been made on everybody's goodest best friend, Torrey!

Torrey's being designed by long time cool friend, Medli20. I'm also planning on asking her to design Mr. Graves as well since she's got big strength in drawing adorables and/or olds.

You can see how good she is at that in the webcomic she and her partner, Bobsplosion are making, Tales From Alderwood! It's like Dungeons and Dragons, but they took the "No Girls Allowed" sign off the clubhouse door!

Well that's all anyone cares about regarding characters and their arts. I'll just shove literally everything else related to it off the counter and into the garbage with an assisted living grabby rod.

You seriously want to know about the two main characters? Are you not grateful for the bounty of bird-worm-dinosaur I've bestowed upon you?

Okay fine. Nick and Selena were obviously the first to be commissioned, but the artist is very busy with their work and personal stuff so their commission queue takes a minute to get through. I completely get it. I mean look at me. I don't do shit and I can barely get anything done. Can you imagine if I had things? To do???

I would love to say that other characters from book one are being commissioned for design, but my main source of income had ended as I was recently laid off, so it's not actually feasible to drop 125-300 USD on art when I need more than that for rent. Once I have something new putting money in my pants, I'll have updates on that, but in the meantime, I'd like to once again thank those of you supporting this Patreon and my original works. Every little bit means a lot and I would be dead in a river somewhere without you.

Most of you are probably also fans of the animations I do on YouTube. as a thank you I want you to know, something short and vile is coming to that channel that is almost as deranged as this book.
