who doesn't love bloopers 😅

Yeah a lot of people give Naomi shit for being manipulated, but that’s because a lot of viewers fail to understand that these are characters are people. Yes, she’s smart, but she’s also grief stricken and is desperate to catch Kira and avenge her fiancé, leaving her susceptible to being manipulated by Light who is saying all the right things to her A lot of people view being smart as being omnipotent and infallible, but just like in real life, you can be smart and make mistakes or fall victim to your emotions. It’s how Light can be a genius, yet still fall for L’s trick with the broadcast

There are alot of weirdos in the anime community who feel empowered and feel like they are “better than” for watching a show in its original language. As a person who is actively engaging in Japanese culture and language, 彼らはばかです!!!

Also the english voices FOR DEATHNOTE SPECIFICALLY is much better than the Japanese

“Those who oppose me, they are the ones that are truly evil” this is Light’s perspective. That girl in this episode was opposition. It’s how he justifies deleting innocent people.

Yes bloopers! ❤ The 'sub vs. dub' argument is ridiculous, imo. The only viable argument I ever see in that sphere is that some anime get one VA setup that is incredible and one that is... not... but even then, the argument should be about the quality of the voicework alone. I like dubbed because it's nice to be able to use the subtitles to supplement what I'm hearing and focus on what's going on on the screen, but I also like the subtitled versions because I love the Japanese language and I'm trying to learn it, so hearing it spoken helps to reinforce that.
