Terauso

Words can not convey my excitement.

Sofomo

'What the hell is going on' is like the AOT tag line hahaha Armin's voice actress is the voice you hear narrating! That's like... the only safe insight to add right now LOL. Oh, and that you can trust the wording and phrasing of the subtitles throughout the entire show. The dialogue is calculated. I'm so invested in your journey this season Sophie oml. The literary lens you watch through is really unique among reactors and I'm so excited for you!!!

Terauso

That was so good. I am having so much fun. Miche's death is so horrible though.. ; ;

Donovan

The line of logic seems sound enough but the line “Bertholdt seems stressed” in the scene where they found out titans were coming made me laugh.

Terauso

Please edit your comment. Don't confirm things the series has not. :)

Terauso

Honestly remembering Bertholdt's name caught me by surprise most of all. Heck if I could remember anyone's name at that stage unless they'd had a dedicated episode.

Sofomo

I rephrased what I think you're referring to...

Terauso

I mean, it's certainly better than it was-

Sofomo

Ah okay I see what you were going for. But Sophie asked for confirmation on who she believed the narrator was not because she doubted it, but because of a disability preventing her from confirming so herself. There's no need to use her hearing loss against her, she can know its Inoue.

DrSophieDarlingReacts

It's all good lovelies! I don't mind too much about this! It's really a minor detail in the long run! It's all good! :D

Terauso

I apologise if that's how I came across. It was certainly not my intention.

Hezer

Yeah, be careful with the excitement and accidentally slipping unnecessary information. Helping her when there's a disability like this is fine, but I think she also have some advantages compared to others, so there's no need to confirm, deny or otherwise help her with her theories outside of the scope of that disability.

Anna Kyruin

Your level of disbelief at the end of the episode was only appropriate lol There's usually a lot of debate in the AOT reaction community as to whether to watch this episode or Ilse's notebook first as a new viewer. I prefer Ilse's notebook even though it lets you know Titans can speak before this episode so it's "less of a shock" but I don't think there's any way to not be adequately shocked by the events of this episode :D

DrSophieDarlingReacts

I'll not lie - I did suspect that it was a thing before Ilse's Notebook mainly because of Hange and her experiments!! Because why would you try to rule out if they could talk if not because it's possibly happened before?!

Hezer

Ok, that explains some of the discussions at earlier episodes here. I thought that it was very obvious that narrator's voice was the same as Armin's. I have a good hearing when it comes to picking up nuances in the sounds, but I heavily struggle to hear other people speak or focus on single voice in noisy environments, and basically can't have any conversations in those situations.

DrSophieDarlingReacts

Yeah - I'm deaf in my left ear and have been since birth so I sometimes struggle to pick up tone haha!!

Hezer

That sharp mind is the reason I enjoy these reactions so much. Watching someone put 1+1 together and seeing their eyes light up. 😉

screeptoneet

I have nothing to add, this is perfect. Also, I have kinda same-ish issue with recognizing voices of different people, even though my hearing is as good as anyone's on both ears. For me it is more of a psychological stuff, I guess. Same thing with faces, when watching live-action movies I tend to confuse characters with one another, or just think that the character who changed hairstyle/clothing is a different one, haha (help me I'm retarded) Just sharing so you wouldn't feel so alone in this. Anyways, so excited for the rest of the season and the show! Thanks for yet another motivator for me to wake my ass up in the morning. xD

screeptoneet

Sorry for spam-commenting, but It's just so *special* how invested you are in the show, how genuinely interested you are... Now, you might think I'm talking weird now, but the truth is that it's actually rare in nowadays reaction community. I just love your inner desire for deep, thorough analysis, directed to something that most "_normal_" people deem as "lol anime for kids :):)" I know I said it all already, so did other people here, but I'm not yet tired of rephrasing and repeating it again and again, this is how much I enjoy your content!

HAL

10:50 these are the people who weren't involved in episode 25 during the events of episode 25, what happened during that battle somewhere else

HAL

oh I understood it as right after ep 25 cause the credits scene of ep 25 is kidna edited in a way that makes it look like this is happening at its end

DrSophieDarlingReacts

Honestly it means a lot! I worry that I'm too serious at times or too emotional but it's only because I think this show is amazing and I want to do it the justice that it deserves! I didn't watch this for 'hype' or 'because it does well on YouTube' but a general interest in applying my analysis to a new media form outside of literature. So I went in with 0 expectations and just a genuine desire to learn and know more!

DrSophieDarlingReacts

Yes it's edited that way but I presumed that this is what was happening before they were on the horses :)

screeptoneet

And that is exactly what makes you a unique reactor, one of the kind, really. When I saw your reaction to S1:E1 in my YT recommendations, I thought of the title: "huh, click-baiting me, I see?" And NOT EVEN HALF-WAY through the video I was like: "I NEED HER PATREON" Stupid government can't stop me with their puny attempts of restricting international payments from my country, haha Not in this case they can't

DrSophieDarlingReacts

AH YOU CUTIE!! Thank you so much. Honestly kind words like these is what motivates me to keep going and creating as much content as I can!!

Sunwellas Adley

"Season 1 done so well so how about we start season 2 with some trauma as well"

daragh faro

Loved the reaction! are you not doing the intros and outros?

daragh faro

Your level of analysis is insane! You and we are going to have so much fun this season.

DrSophieDarlingReacts

I want to do them all as 1 video so going to wait until I finish the series! :D

ChikoCharm

I made a comment earlier as well in one of her first AOT YT videos where I said she should make a patreon so people can watch unblurred. It was mentioned in response it be too expensive but hey, look where we are now! There's a lot of people I wanna become member to to watch unblurred AOT tbh but don't have the money for, so I gotta be picky on my decisions too. Idk how many patreon members there are here already but ohboy, def worth it and I bet there are more people to come!

DrSophieDarlingReacts

Thank you so much for encouraging me and also helping me to find a work around which was Google Drive instead of VIMEO!! Honestly so blessed to have the support from you all and it's been great getting to speak with you all!!

Erinn Daum

Season 2!! What got me the first time was that the Beast Titan didn’t know what ODM gear was, but humans have been using it for decades. I thought he must be super old and predates ODM gear, or that he’s just been off somewhere far far away… but then why’s he coming to human places now?? The Beast Titan absolutely fascinated me lol.

Jordan Olivier

This reaction was so fucking GAS. Thanks for your work, Sophie. RIP Mike Zacharias; he was a real one. One of the few that Erwin clearly respects and relies on (like Hange and Levi). Mike quickly got a plan together and executed it flawlessly, which was very fitting for the second-strongest soldier after Levi. We are losing talented officers amid a crisis (Titans spotted roaming inside the walls); logically, this is the start of disaster. I CAN NOT WAIT for the next episode.
