It's a completely different vibe than Death Note or AOT, but JJK is always my recommendation.

ooh for anime recs, i recommend Banana Fish!! i may end up being completely wrong this, but i can totally see you as a Banana Fish fan!! for other recs i also recommend: -ORANGE (completed, 13 eps, 1 movie): friendship, romance, self-love, mental health -SK8 THE INFINITY (completed, 12 eps, ova coming soon): friendship, skateboarding, really wholesome -HAIKYUU!! (almost complete. 4 seasons, 1 movie, some ovas): volleyball, inspirational, also very wholesome. you dont have to like or know volleyball to enjoy it!! -DORORO (completed, 24 eps): historical fantasy, supernatural, samurai -ORE MONOGATARI (completed, 24 eps): romantic comedy, wholesome -KONO OTO TOMARE (sorta completed? no news of new season but the manga is ongoing. 26 eps): music competition style anime involving a traditional japanese instrument, the koto. this one is so underrated. it is so good ugh

Media literacy is at an all time low if people are debating what you’re saying about Light. The show makes it insanely obvious that the Death Note has a corrupting influence on him It isn’t even like this theme is unique to Death Note. “Absolute power corrupts” has been a trope in art forever lmao

Dot - you should see how many dislikes my videos get when I talk about how the hate for Misa borders on misogynistic. Oh boy did people get mad at that haha!! Out of both series on YouTube. More users have been hidden from Death Note than AOT and there's less episodes haha!!
