FMAB Ep 22 (Patreon)

Apologies everyone - turns out I yapped for 8 minutes at the end only to not realise my mic was muted. I'm presuming that's what happened because it's only AFTER the react that the mic mutes and it's also after I shifted in my chair so I must have hit it by mistake. I am going to re-watch the episode and try and remember what it was I was discussing so I can re-record and upload that for you all.

I'm pretty annoyed as I made some really good discussions regarding Scar and seeing his brother in Ed through that desire to protect those around you. How Scar shows the impact of PTSD. His willingness to accept Winry's revenge which could be a turning point for him as it shows that forgiveness is an option and that he does not need to always be destined down the path he's on. How Al might be the one to get through to him as he's more rationale and level headed. But also that the conversation with them both opened Scar's eyes somewhat to the fact he's judging all State Alchemists to be alike without realising that there are many who are haunted by what they were made to do. They turned away from the military and tried to atone or escape from their memories altogether. Ed and Al aren't what he expects and likewise it would force him to realise that he can't tar them all with the same brush.

I will try and re-watch this episode on Sunday and get a discussion filmed and uploaded but may be a bit delayed depending on how much filming I get through as I have to film Friday and Sunday as I'm getting tattooed on Saturday!
