I love that you noticed the Michael Jackson resemblance with Muzan Kibutsuji right from the start, even from just the silhouette! I believe I heard that Michael Jackson had been an inspiration for the character design of Muzan, especially his "Smooth Criminal" look, or at least you aren't alone in noticing how similar they look. Also, a popular nickname for Muzan among fans is Muzan Jackson!

"He looks like Michael Jackson!" And welcome to the community, glad to have you.

The amount of memes that Muzan has because he looks like Michael Jackson....😂 This was a good intro to Tanjiro handling his first solo mission with a demon. Can't WAIT for the next one though

I would kill for Nezuko - she is so stinking cute!

There is controversy regarding Tanjiro's earings as it kinda looks like Japan's Rising Sun. The Rising Sun was its wartime flag and countries that were attacked by Japan during that time sort of see it in the same way a European will look at a Swastika. The explanation however is that its not a rising sun but a flower from a hanafuda card design. But not everyone buys it.

Yes! I'm glad you caught that demons will retain some characteristic from their human days, which will manifest, consciously or not, in their demonic state. The cliffhangers in Demon Slayer are almost legendary. I've seen reactors scream, cry, curse and even throw things at their screens because of them!🤬

I recall that the notion of Urokodaki employing a method of suggestion or hypnosis on Nezuko, implanting the idea that humans are her family while she was asleep sparked a divide among fans. ☑️⚖️✅️🤷‍♂️ The controversy stems from the ethical implications of using suggestion or hypnosis without consent, even if it's for a seemingly noble purpose. Some viewers don't like it, argue that it raises questions about free will and the potential for abuse of such techniques. Others defend Urokodaki's actions, arguing that he was acting out of urgency not only to shield Nezuko from her demonic urges but also to actively protects humans. Therefore, I appreciate that Urokodaki began to address the concept of "cold comfort," it might refer to the fact that while Nezuko is no longer a threat to humans, she is still a demon and faces a difficult existence.
