Frieren Tattoo Decided! (Patreon)

Thank you for the poll BUT also opinions on the design choice. It's made me reflect and I've changed my idea altogether.

Instead - the theme is going to be MENTORS!

1) This will be Wednesday's tattoo

2) This will be next month's tattoo

I love the Frieren and Fern imagery and their staff's so instead of having Stark look out of place - I'm going to put him with Eisen and then Fern and Frieren can be together! Thank you for everyone who highlighted that they liked the Frieren and Fern images together but that Stark didn't really work because I revised and I think what I came up with is a lot better!

So, you're getting Frieren tattoos... without the guy who's basically the reason she does anything? Bold move. I'm sure your tattoos will be great, but are you sure you want to commit to a lifetime of people asking, 'Where's Himmel?' 😜

I have a plan for that but I also never intended to get character tattoos. Everything I had up until Alphonse was symbolic which included Frieren's staff and Himmel's flowers (so he's already represented). But now after getting Alphonse - I like character tattoos more than I thought so I will be getting a Frieren and Himmel tattoo of them in the flower field with the flower crowns. But even still - no one would question it because everyone has favourite characters from the show. I got Alphonse but not Ed but no one would question WHY NOT ED because they understand that there's a reason why I don't have one because I wanted to focus on a character I loved most.

LOL...Crazy but I was just thinking the other day about this show and how there is such a strong underlying theme regarding the importance of mentorship. Especially as it relates to the concept of knowing when to take the figurative "training wheels" off by standing back and allowing a mentee to struggle in order to promote personal growth and confidence.

I have a small question. Will these tattoos be done in one session? Or will you need to split sessions? I imagine if they are colourful, they can take time. Alphonse's tattoo took 4 hours, which is what made me wonder this.

Sorry if my teasing isn't always on target. 🙈 I would never pressure anyone into getting a specific tattoo on their skin, haha. But that's a great response.

They'll be black and grey but I always do my tattoos in a single session :) I never split them up. Black and grey take less time than colour so they'll not be as long so we can get more done but we'll likely be doing Frieren and Fern next month and Stark and Stark & Eisen tomorrow!
