I read the subtitle too fast and in my brain saw it as 'will' instead of 'won't when they were discussing the woman and the scars - oopsie!!

Wahoo, the start of season 2! This episode is actually almost completely an anime original, believe it or not!

Buzzard

The samurai would savor every bite of food they ate, knowing that each meal could be their last. Rengoku follows that philosophy , hence the repeated "UMAI!"🍚🥢

Carlo Marasigan

Without a doubt Rengoku is my favorite Hashira and always will be. Cant wait till you get the full backstory. This episode by the way was not in the movie. Its a bonus episode they added when they converted the movie into an anime season. As filler episodes go this is not bad!

I was late to the Nanami glazing in jjk so i will NOT this time: Rengoku the man that you areeee! Hes such a cool (ha!) guy. Also the whole "what do the other pillars think of the X pillar" are extras idk if in the manga volumes or databook? but there is one for each one of them, so since we r getting introduced to him I think this is the perfect place to use it as a Taisho secret. And btw, so funny that after the discussion of what you should watch first, since you ended doing the season u did the S2E1 first after all lol

Leah Henderson

I was a bit worried about Rengoku after watching this episode because he's soooo wonderful and I could not help loving him even as I kept thinking "what's the catch?!" And now after hearing your commentary I'm SO worried for Rengoku DX But I love the commentary and it's why I watch, so let's go! *clings to Rengoku* (Also, shout out to Sully. What a sweetie!)

Half the time, I was just invested in watching Sully lie cosily, seeing his body rise and fall as he breathed. Quality content.

Goldie

Rengoku is the Princess Diana of Demon Slayer, everyone loves him 🤣

WondrousMay

This is actually my first time watching this episode since I watched Mugen Train in theaters. It was a lovely way to introduce Rengoku to the audience. He’s such a cool character!!!
