Btw the whole opening scene with Sanemi and Obanai seeing the infinity castle is an anime original scene, it wasn’t in the manga!

Brandon

So excited be on the home stretch but also don’t want it to be finished 🥲 (I feel the same way for JJK)

Mateo_Tano

Was gonna comment this!

Mateo_Tano

Sophie I'm sorry to be one saying it, but... The second movie might be the most anticipated one of the trilogy and if the first one has had a one year exclusivity in cinemas I can't imagine how the release date will be looking for the next one... So I think july 2028 will be the date 😭

Mina E.D

Yehhh Giyu time thats my man💙💙

I like your "Die young if you have a mark" theory, cuz one thing that we've known is that (aside from the trainers and certain swordsmiths), Everyone literally EVERYONE in the Demon Slayer Core is younger than 30, Gyomei is 27. Tengen is a Mutilated and retired war veteran married man at 23 years old(We're the same age😭😭😂💀). Rengoku died at 20, Muichiro is 14 yrs old and a Hashira and so on and so on and so forth, so this Mark and subsequent Mark Training is lowkey a nail in the Demon Slayer Coffin💀😭😭😂😂. Also Tamayo being scared shitless about going to the Demon Slayer HQ is valid yet funny to me purely cuz my first thought was "Oh God, Do Not Let Sanemi see her😭😭😂😂😂".

So a quick claryfication about the infinity castle and don't sorry it's not a spoiler this is something the the viewer should nie by now, there's no way inside the castle sińce it's an alternator dimension, the entrance can appear anywhere and can be only made by the biwa woman

Season 4! Might not be the cup of tea for everyone but it's such a well done season in terms of exploring its characters that... God I love Demon Slayer. Can't wait for your reactions! By the way, maybe it's a little soon to say this and I'll remind you later in the season, but as a die hard Demon Slayer fan I think that when reacting to 4x07 you should film your reaction of the whole episode without skipping the ending, just for the better experience

The Nichirin blades are made by bathing the metal in sun. The reason why beheading demons with them works is bc they have a little bit of sun in them. Muzan absorbing Nezuko would make him undefeatable. Nezuko rn is technically undefeatable unless Muzan absorbs her.

Mina E.D

Yknow, I didn't realise that detail about the nichirin swords until I was at season 4. It took a few rewatches and seeing Haganezuka explain the sun bathing thing in 1x5 for me to fully get it. Before that I was like, "special sword huh, okay bro whatever that means". It really is only sunlight that can kill a demon If Muzan absorbed her then God would have to intervene at that point I guess cause we're cooked

Buzzard

Ha! I've got several decades on you. I hope I'm still around to see the finale of Apothecary Diaries.👴

DrSophieDarlingReacts

It's not something we should know by now. It's never been explained. We've only seen INSIDE of it and never anyone from the outside entering. We know the woman can move it around but as to how else it works - none of that information has been given.

Leah Henderson

Yay! I only have one episode left of this season and I am loving it and I think you're going to love it, too. :D I gotta say, Inosuke teaching Nezuko to say his name is one of my top favorite scenes in the whole show! XD

Nerf Or Nothing

The Masters Crow has so much Aura. Actually insane

Hey Sophie, so good to see you again. Once you finish this arc, I would suggest you to not see the infinity castle trailer, but dive into the movie right away. I’ll explain my reasoning for this, but you are of course, open to decide. When it was known last year, that the movie would not be on streaming platforms until 2026, people were excited to atleast know from the trailer who battles whom (to avoid the yearlong lengthy wait). Now that it’s already available on Crunchyroll, and since you’re so passionate about this series, I feel watching the trailer would take away significant part of the surprise and anticipation that you would have when you watch the movie immediately after. Instead, if you start with the movie right away, you will be welcomed with loads of surprises and plenty of unexpected moments. It’s just my take and opinion, I’d be happy to know what you think about it.

DrSophieDarlingReacts

I wouldn't be watching the trailer? That wouldn't make sense as the movie is released. I've never mentioned that I'd watch the teailer 😅

Anish Shil

Yes, you never did. But if there was a possibility of that thought to come, I wanted to address it (don’t know why, you’re smart already) 😅. Most other reactors had already seen the trailer last year, and then they reacted to the movie when it released on OTT this July.

DrSophieDarlingReacts

Haha that's fair! I haven't even seen the Apothecary Diaries S3 trailer! Going in fully blind!

Mina E.D

Ngl, that trailer is peak. I still watch it even after seeing the movie. Its a movie in itself. That being said going into it blind is the best

Mina E.D

I think thats how lots of people feel about Detective Conan

Ryuga

Thanks for your reactions as always. There's a chance someone may have mentioned this already but I figure I'd prep you for it because most of us will agree it enhances the viewing experience. When you reach episode 7 don't just watch the end credits but also the ending song as it is meant to be consumed that way! Also, your insights are incredible

Ryuga

I say as I see someone below has already mentioned it so ignore me, but as you can see we are all equally passionate about it haha. Ignore me then, love your reactions! :)

WillDaBeast Grasslands

How is this something the viewer should know already? I'm an anime-only fan and I've watched the entire series up to this point multiple times, and there is zero inkling or clue as to what the infinity castle is, where it is, how it works, etc. None of our characters know either. With all due respect, it is slightly disappointing when people try to strip away the mysteries of a good show for those who are rightfully in the dark about said mysteries. I don't know what anybody gains from this, other than a less-impactful revelation of cool details that would have otherwise been very exciting to experience via the show rather than via comments online.
