"Today's the day of our most dangerous mission for operation strix thus far, but a crucial one. Begin operation Picnic in the park for anyas birthday " brother, please we know what this is

It’s always been pet peeve of mine whenever someone says that this show “isn’t too deep” or how “it’s just a cute show with nothing really happening”. Like you said, there’s so many things to discuss about the characters and the core themes of the show if people would just delve a little deeper into the story. I really loved your discussion about how Twilight said the terrorists are just kids. It really showed the generation gap between the characters that are trying to prevent war versus younger people who want war as a way to restore the country’s glory. I’m also glad that you’re loving Anya’s bond with Mister Dog already! They’re the cutest duo!

RIGHT?! There's so much depth but people just focus on the comedy and that's fine but to say there's nothing more to it than that is such a disservice!!

Strap in your seat belt, the next couple episodes are gonna be a hoot! 🥳

This is my exact feeling when people crap on Demon Slayer for being "too simple." They seem to think that unless the anime has like 13 different subplots happening all at once with death and tragedy and politics in every episode, then it's beneith their superior IQ. A simple story isn't the same thing as a shallow story. Some of the best works of writing ever created by human kind revolve around trivial human behavior or everyday human experiences, but they're genius because of how much of a reflection they are of us as people. When a show can extract that level of awareness and passion from the consumer, then it has earned it's place amongst other exceptional works of art, in my opinion.

Damn! You got me remembering that Futurama episode. It's a heartbreaker.😢 Things are about get dark now. I can't wait to see what you make of Handler when this all plays out.

What do we want? Frys dog! When do we want it? Frys dog! Yaaaaay! (If you did not watch it, there is a Futurama movie (Benders Big Score) where they redcon that Fry actually has a version of himself that lives with Seymore in the past, so they had a full happy life together... Still knowing that I do cry every time I watch the Jurassic Bark episode). Also, there is a special place in the abyss for anyone who abuses animals and children.

BORF BORF! Mister Dog is here! I love how he's this giant fluffy boy instead of maybe some lean, agile dog like the German Shepard like Loid tried to get 😂 he'd be perfect for their strange family. I talso truly love how real Anya feels as a child character. The things she says, her way of thinking, her actions, are realistically childlike for her age. All the kids in this show, really. She wants to help, but still gets into messy situations she cant handle, cause she's a child, and at the same time she finds small ways to do things she can, do while still living out her dream of having superhero parents 😂 it's very endearing.

"Jurassic Bark" traumatized a lot of us, a great episode but holy shit... Don't worry, "Mister dog" gets a name, and you'll probably say "yes, of course!" when you find out lol
