Morning….!

Workout complete for today! I haven’t been able to do my daily routines of late due to my family emergency but as things are calming down a bit I’m getting back to it!

A lot of you have messaged me to say that you also workout or are adopting a new lifestyle routine to manage weight…so I am eager to know….what’s your current exercise routine? How do you keep motivated?

For me it’s a mixture of health reasons and being able to stay strong and healthy when I’m much older (AND looking good for you guys in those try on hauls😜)

I wish I could stay motivated and exercise. I really need to do it too as a couch potato.

My current workout is limited to lifting big mugs of beer. It is really challenging for me to find motivation to exercise. And it’s super hard to fit it into my work schedule :(

Crossfit 4 times a week and yoga on Sundays. Feeling somewhat crippled today I will not lie. Aside from wanting to enjoy what I see in the mirror its about keeping healthy.

It’s really funny because I’m on the opposite timings. It’s nearly dinner time!! I have found little goals really helpful and when running simple phrases like “nothing bad is going to happen’ really helpful

Well hello there

Sorry, but the term "Current exercise routine" yielded 0 results for me. 🙃Actually I eat light during the week and go for a hike on Saturday mornings, then pig out the rest of the weekend. It seems to work for me in terms of maintaining my weight at least.

You are just wonderful, in every way. Also, I’m getting back into boxing after a long break due to surgery.

Firstly, I'd just like to confirm that waking up to this picture is an absolute win! Secondly, I use to OBSESS over training! Badly! Proper body dysmorpia! Its horrible, I actually looked in great shape but felt the unhappiest EVER inside! I'm 40 next year and life is different now, I'll always train ( weights, running, swimming etc) but my goals have moved away from pure physical ones as I've gotten older x

Running/walking in the morning has always a go to for me. But I've never been to good at being consistent with it. As for motivation, weight loss has always been a factor, or just trying to keep in some sort of shape. But nowadays i feel i do it mostly to better my mood throughout the day, as I can definitely tell the difference on the days that I don't go for a run.

Looking at getting a set of weights to do some simple exercises this winter, hopefully it will help with my bad shoulder as the physio said it would, and not make it worse. I like to walk and bike but unfortunately those will be curtailed once the mercury drops below twenty-five Celsius, as I like having fingers and toes more.🤔

This hits better than caffeine haha C'mon you can't look bad even if you tried 🙌 Not much of a workout going on for me but I've been switching my diet to something that doesn't make me feel sick all the time 😅

For me, I just enjoy it. For example, I like running because it gives me an opportunity to zone out a bit and just generally unwind. I’m going to start a new training plan soon because, while I’m in okay shape, I think I want to build a bit more muscle. So I’m looking forward to the challenge of that. Looking great, Charlette!

I do 12 hour shifts, days and nights, sat down the entire time😴😴! So when I’m not in work I’m either up a mountain, hiking or biking…. Or in a loch swimming! Working with a group of older guys that are all overweight and unhealthy is fantastic motivation to try to stay fit! 😂

I'm usually at the gym four days a week. I do the same thing when I'm there cause I need that routine. 1 hour on the treadmill (run 5 mins walk 5 mins and repeat) , 30 minutes on the rowing machine, 30 minutes total on the leg press & 30-60 minutes working the upper body using different machines/weights. I could change up my routine and try new fitness regimes but I find it difficult to change & try new things. I guess I stick to what I know works for me so I don't have to deal with the stress of trying new things and possibly losing my motivation if it doesn't work out.

Current exercise routine: Framing up a house, lots of lifting, sawing, and laddering. Motivation: Beat the coming Winter, and provide more space for me and mine. We live in a dinky150 year old farm house that's. Once the house is complete, our very close friend will be moving in. How wonderfully strange life can become.
