Morning squishies! How was your weekend?

Mine was great! (As you saw in my last post 😂) Though the only thing which deviated from plan was swimming….which I ended up not going to in the end 🙈

In the studio right now typing this and I have a wee case of Monday blues 😭Mainly because of all the negative comments on my appearance in last nights Monthly Favourites video. But I’m going to try not and let that effect me for today because I have Vampire videos to make! 🧛‍♀️

Let me know what you’re up to this week!

Work, work and more work and maybe some ice hockey. 😁

Mr. Ide

Working in uni… right now in amphi!!

Macaroon1701

screw the haters! You looked great in that video and who are they to police how you look in YOUR videos 🤨

Adam

I love these daily updates with a cheeky snap of you, really is a nice addition to my day. Ps - I'm confused, what do you mean how you looked? What was wrong?

A Connolly

Don't let the moaners get you down, WA...if they don't like you being you they aren't important.

Neil F

What comments I couldn’t see any negative ones? Great vid as always 😘

Unhand Me Priest

YouTube is the home of negative comments, just sad people who think their crappy opinion is the most important in the world. This week I'm off work today and tomorrow to recover from a weekend at a comic con. Then I get to spend the rest of the week catching up on the work I missed, such fun!

Grant

You looked great, but I do have to be a lot more sneaky bringing up ASMR vids to play in the background at work.

David

I doubt there is another place on the planet that contains the sane level of saltiness as the YouTube comment section. You could be saving puppies dressed as a nun and someone would complain. Do what you enjoy.

Neo

I can't see any negative comments, you look absolutely perfect. Always going to have negative comments whatever you do so might as well do what pleases you...and us on here 😈😍😘😘

LeonO

Blue top brings out your eyes- go the geese!!

Ceryk

I am guessing it is about the cleavage, which is a ridiculous complaint, you aren't Amish. Wear what ever the hell you want, fuck them. Not your problem some people hate boobs. Weekend was good, finished replaying a game and gor some chores done. Rest of the week, dunno, no real plans. Though I put off grocery shopping, so I do need to go do that tomorrow.

Chris Butler

I voted “Both” on the YouTube poll, and it looks like that is the overwhelmingly preferred choice, but you can’t ever please everybody so don’t dwell on the 7%. I’m also guessing I’m not alone in eagerly awaiting the next batch of VIP photos you’ve teased about….when are those coming btw? 😁

You seem to be doing very well here on Patreon, perhaps it's time to cut the ungrateful crowd loose? Not abandon YouTube, just take all the spice away if people are going to be mean about it. I noticed your lovely NASA-SMR video got the same viewer count as the Monthly Faves vid from that time period, so clearly there's still a lot of people that don't care whether you're sultry or comfy! I do understand that media is your job, how you put food in Tibb's bowl (and you're far braver than I could ever be, being self-employed like that) but what profiteth an ASMRtist if she gaineth a few subscribers but lose her sense of self-worth, as the totally-made-up saying goes.

Digby

I can't stand modern Puritans and their false modesty. They must have liked somethin; they clicked on the video after all. I finally get consistent clear weather to finish up my house framing..

Dave Jones

Good Lord, if only people would act like mature adults - if they don't like something, stop watching! I don't understand the small-minded need to pull someone else down. Keep doing what you enjoy, it's great! 🤗 My weekend - finally getting around to writing some music for my pantomime group! Deadlines are approaching...

I'm so sorry some people are being jerks. You look beautiful and I don't know why anyone wouldn't just enjoy that. I have work today and every day this week, of course. So mostly focusing on that. My birthday is this week, so we'll be going out for a nice dinner on that day. :) Btw I am one of your long time fans, I joined your Patreon the first time in 2017, and I love that you are turning up the heat. Because it is your choice, and you're a strong, brilliant woman who can do as she pleases. And what is hotter than that? :)

Ray Lorenz

I don’t get why people continue to try to tear down others. Loved the video!

Andrew

Hi Charlette! Sorry about this long comment. What I'm doing this week is not important right now. I’d really like to comment on the negative comments on your appearance on the Monthly Favourites video. I didn’t see those negative comments (and I’m glad I didn’t, because they would probably have angered me). But about those commenters: I know how negative comments about something you created and care deeply about can hurt. Negative comments attacking how you choose to look can be maybe even more intrusive. That negativity might even overshadow the more numerous positive comments and can lead to self-doubt. I have experienced that kind of pain myself, as I’m sure many others of us here have too. I hope you’re not being hard on yourself and don’t start believing the negative remarks. I believe Patreon was originally started as a site where people could support other people. People who are good at photography, art, music - and who let other people in on the process, explain how they do things, stuff like that. Or people who are good at other things, like ASMR… Patreon still has that function, you can support people, for whatever reason you want. Sure, a supporter gets something in return: knowledge, tingles, a sense of happiness, or something else. But the supporting is the main thing. The people who are supported don’t owe their supporters anything. They don’t have to cater to the crowd, i.e. they can be themselves and evolve their channel and the thing they do as they feel fit. And then the supporters can stay supportive - or not. I personally joined your Patreon because I really like you. I don’t really know you of course, but like your warm and open personality, the sound and musicality of your voice, your choice of words, your British accent (and I am Dutch, so I undoubtedly have completely different and less pleasant kind of English accent of my own, but still). And obviously I also like the way you look and the AMSR things you do. Following you and supporting you feels nice to me, that’s why I support you on Patreon. So I hope that next time you get negative comments I hope you can focus on this: that most of your patrons/squishies/M’fkers (😄), including me, would like you to feel only support and love and nothing else. Please stay who you are, keep at it the way you are now. And please don’t feel you owe us anything or need to do or change something because some people give you negative comments. Those people just don’t support you and what you do anymore. Plenty of other people do and will! 🌹🌻

I saw one comment from a bitter woman who you should disregard because she has no right to be judgmental of you. People like that have their own issues they project and should keep their mouths shut. Just keep doing whatever makes you happy because you’re amazing and you’re not on twitch wearing cat ears and slobbering on a 3dio. So ride your wave because you’re killing it and I can’t sleep without your videos. You make people happy and you should be happy too. Have a wonderful week. 😊

No matter how big you become the negative voices will always come through loudest. Something in our brains will take one negative comment, even if there’s thousands of positives, and cause us to hyper focus on it. It plays into insecurity about your new chosen route. You’re going to get both extremes coming out very forcefully. As you adjust you’ll find the impact of there voices diminish. YT is toxic no matter who you are. For every negative comment there are hundreds of the opposite from people who just do not post comments or say anything. That’s how I ended up here.

Between great appreciation from people who give you money versus bitter criticism from people who'd never give you money I know which ones I'd care about 🤣.

Terry Mcginnis

How could they have anything negative to say about your appearance? You're gorgeous head to toe. And if they were giving you a "hard time" because of the cleavage then you definitely disregard it, you have the right to wear whatever you want / makes you feel good. You shouldn't give it a single thought. If you want to dress to feel sexy or simply show that you're confidant in your beauty then you absolutely should. Your own feelings and desires are more important than peoples opinions, life is too short to care about that. And if you decide that it isn't worth it on youtube then you can be as free as you want here on patreon. We love you and support you.

I’m with you Charlette, it’s your channel - therefore you can appear however you want in videos. I’m saddened that there are awful people in this world that think they can make choices for other people. You do you! I hope your day gets better ❤️

Charles

One of the many things that I love about your channel is the amount of interaction that you have with your viewers. Whether it’s simply reading every comment posted, or taking the time to respond to every concern. It’s definitely encouraged me to move out of my comfort zone and interact more over the past few months. It’s rare to see that much effort put into the comment section, but that also means that you have to be exposed to all of the negativity being posted. Which I feel is mostly filled with things that people would never say to you in person. It does seems that with anonymity people tend to be their worst. It’s awful that you have to deal with that. I can listen to your videos, or I can watch and appreciate the visuals, the bottom line is that the asmr is always present and I can always put on one of your videos to decompress. I hope you’re not discouraged by the negative voices that always tend to be the loudest. As for my week, I woke up early today to get a head start, only to fall asleep again for an extra 3 hours, so hopefully the rest of my week is an improvement.

Paul McBryde

Looks like some of those people's respect for you depended on an inch of fabric, silly people.

Caroline T

I commented on that video - it made me so angry that people were acting like they had any say over you, your appearance or your content. You produce content you enjoy and in ways you look great - whether it be in a more revealing t-shirt or dressed as the vampire matron in a high neck ensemble! I am so excited for the vampire videos! They are my absolute favorite and the most delicious combination or mysterious, spooky, camp, relaxing and so creative! I watch them all year round! I’d love to see repeat characters come through! Also it would be fun to perhaps hear indirectly about progress that the fledgling vampire has made since the last series. Perhaps they’ve made more friends or have a proper coffin now - “lush!” Etc. Have a lovely day!

Greg T

The video was nice and I liked the outfit. I gave a little bit for a thank you ( not sure if that has any impact 😄). For what it’s worth I’m a new patron due to your cheerful presentation 😀

Charlette - I'm quite late to the party here, but I do hope you read this. Right at this moment, women are being hurt and even murdered in Iran and elsewhere because they can't express themselves, or simply show their hair in public. Don't let these fucking hypocrites on YouTube influence a single thing YOU want to do. It seems a far stretch from Iran, but this shit is still an attempt by others to control you or decide for you what 'moral' means and it isn't ok. Don't let them win by conceding any bit of yourself.

Working. All week. LoL. But this weekend I'm hoping to get on the road with my whole family. I'll be showing them my fav antique shop!😄 Also... Your amazing! Stay cool Mrs Audios 😎
