10 years ago today I had a harebrained idea to film myself flipping through a magazine and post it online for all to see.

I had been falling to sleep to the soothing voice of Maria GentleWhispering for about a year and I thought, I would like to give back to the Whisper Community (as it was known back then) as it has given me so much.

So, I had a camera, I had a microphone, I had some free time; I thought “why the hell not…what’s the worst that could happen…?!”

Fast forward 10 years and I would have never IN MY WILDEST DREAMS have believe that this would now be my full time job, helping hundreds of thousands of people fall to sleep each night. Still, to this day, I don’t truly believe it.

Now, let’s be real for a moment, the journey here has not been easy, as most things in life are not. It has been full of ups and downs, steep and embarrassing learning curves.

But all throughout this journey, keeping me in check and keeping my sanity intact have been YOU, my dear viewers. You have been there from day one, encouraging me and supporting me through thick and thin. Cheering me through my wins and perking me up through my lows. Without you, this whole journey would be for nothing and for that I am ETERNALLY grateful to each and everyone of you.

Who knows where this channel will be in the next 10 years? I would like to think that it is still going strong; still a beacon of comfort and relaxation for all those who seek it.

So thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been a privilege and an honour to be your friend for these long 10 years. Here’s to 10 more!
