Cheeky visit to our local Foyles bookstore and OH MY GOD is their board game selection 🔥 🔥😱

These are 100000% going on my wish list !

Which one catches your eye?

Also...who would be interested in a board game collection show and tell video one day?

Maybe even a relaxing game walk through/learn how to play?

I actually recorded one of these for a Patreon custom video (thanks for the idea Brian!) and I really enjoyed it filming it!

Let me know in the comments!

Normally I'm the mute sub that never speaks, but I just got Haunting at House on the Hill last month! 😁 Excellent game! Also, a board game show and tell or how-to would be delightful. Thanks for all that you do!

Yeah, I'd watch board game videos. You did a segment for a custom once for me with that German game you said you could never the the name right for and call Snatch and Grab or something. Even though I can't tell what any of them are about, the Japanese game is the one that catches my eye the most. Probably Boss Monster after that. And I am shocked that they made a Gargoyles game, that show was so long ago, lol. Though I have heard they are trying to revive the franchise.

A kind of "ASMR board game unboxing" would be great! I've never thought of that but it suits ASMR just fine. All that cards, pieces, cut-out cardboard... opening, organizing, examining... It could be great. And we geek bunch would enjoy it a lot. The Dune one (Dune: Conquest&Diplomacy) is a "remake&update" of the old classic Dune game (GF9 also sells it), which is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. I haven't played the new one but GF9 has shown nothing but respect and devotion for the old one so I would give it a try. Colditz is not very good, sadly. It's a very old game and it shows. (The old Dune, on the contrary, plays almost like a modern one. It truly came decades ahead of its time) Boss Monster is fine but it gets boring after a few games. I haven't played the rest of them. But I would like to get a taste of the Gargoyles one.

Of those, I have only played Betrayal at House on the Hill. I remember enjoying it. I think a tour of your boardgame collection would make a good video.

I bought Geistes Blitz based on your recommendation. Unfortunately I'm a bit too good at it for others to enjoy.

Gargoyles! I loved that show as a kid!

On the subject of games, how about... a baccarat/blackjack dealer roleplay? (yes, I did see you commenting on those unintentional ASMR vids🤭) I think the only prop it would require would be a green felt tabletop. You could set it up like those online casinos where you're dealing out cards to the 'players' and blackjack in particular is very easy to play 'against yourself', and you could put little Easter Eggs in like having the player names be patrons or characters. Plus, it's an excuse to wear a fancy dress and still be completely Youtube appropriate, if you need YT content!

The asian one looks very interesting. And like the recent DVD shelves review, I would love to see your Gaming shelves. Gamer goodness indeed !

Gargoyles loved that show!!

The Dune game stands out for me
