Today I am painting our bedroom! 

We've had some extreme mould in our bedroom for the best part of a year and our landlord has been INCREDIBLY slow in getting it removed. Since we only live in a 1 bed house, we've had no choice but to sleep in there with it all around us....(RIP lungs lol) 

Thankfully though a specialist finally came out on Thursday to remove it BUT the landlord was too tight to redecorate the room and now it looks like someone has smeared mud all over the ceiling and walls which looks horrible. 

Thankfully though, I am a trained painter and decorator! So today I am whipping this room back to shape (at my own expense though haha!) 

Even though the house we rent is very embarrassing as it lacks certain things (like heating for example..) I am thankful every day to have a roof over my head, my loved ones around me and food on the table. Not many people are as fortunate. 

(And OF COURSE, Miko would get paint on her in the first 5 minutes 🤪)
