Hello Koala, I put the help at 80-90%. If I put them all the game would be over in a short time and you would not investigate anything in the house. Normally if there is no help try to go to sleep. But there are other cases like for example when you spy on Kara in her room. That activates a help to go watch TV. I also don't mention going to school where you bump into Claire at the university.
