Saltburn | Movie Review | Ep 288

We review Emerald Fennel's latest film: Saltburn. This movie had a lot of iconic moments, and was certainly entertaining, and quite salacious! -MovieBitches (Avaryl & Andrew) Follow us on social media! http://www.twitter.com/moviebitches http://www.instagram.com/moviebitches http://www.moviebitches.xyz http://www.facebook.com/movieb1tches Subscribe to our podcast "Let's Have A Kiki" https://link.chtbl.com/MovieBitches Subscribe to MovieBitches! I described this film to my friend as "Ari Aster gets horny and throws a party." The camp is the perfect balance to the "artsy-ness" so it doesn't become full of itself.

Watched Promising Young Woman off of this and my god! Definitely go into it blind.

So Emerald Fennell was signed on to write and direct a Zatanna movie for DC, but everything's up in the air right now given all the shakeups at Warner Brothers. Honestly, given the state of comic book movies, I'd rather she not do that and instead make more movies like this. I don't know how much freedom she'd actually get to have making that kind of film.
