2 - WHAT'S TO COME IN JANUARY?

[MAP] The Eternal Library [40x80]: Sepiaanksharokh was a hoarder, as most dragons are. However, the strange creature took the habit of not hoarding gold, silver and jewels, or lands, or magical artefacts… but knowledge itself. It built its own library between the planes, where the threads of magic are the strongest, and accumulated scrolls, treaties, maps and grimoires of all kind. Amidst the frequently opened and deeply cared for tomes, one may stumble upon old, forbidden magic, forgotten by the gods themselves; or the strange and exotic stories of a now expired traveler; or a collection of cooking recipes originated from a dead kingdom. The creature was always looking to grow its collection. However, it did not look kindly upon visitors. Entering the Eternal Library uninvited was a sure way to get your memory violently extracted and added to its chronicles.

[FoundryVTT module]: The Old Mill [OVERSEERS and above]

[FoundryVTT module]: The Spirit Crags [OVERSEERS and above]

[FoundryVTT module]: Rooted Ruins [OVERSEERS and above]

[MAP] Dwarven Distilery [40x30]: Brewmaster Odar Thorbruk was on top of the world, both literally and figuratively. Since he was not a man to scorn at a good challenge, he decided to build his brewery on a mountain peak. The roads were dangerous, the cliffs and blizzards ever threatening. Yet, the dwarf’s business flourished. Following humble beginnings, his establishment met some level of success with the local nobility. He crushed his rivals mercilessly, stifling them economically when convenient, or physically when needed. He always had at least a few cut-throats in his ledger. If anything, they were useful to keep his employees in line. As he grew older, Odar did not become more lenient. He became sly and bitter. That’s when the party comes into play.

[MAP] : Avernus Plains [60x45]: You should really simply say “no” when your contract asks you to go hell-diving. But no. Once again your party desperately needed the funds after the “incident” and once again you ended up down there. The soot clouds are barely light enough to let you see the swarms of winged demons dotting the blackened skies. The bright red glow of the lava rivers that split the land apart don’t make looking down any easier. As you force your mind to re-focus on the mission at stake, you try not to step on too many of the skeletal remains that litter the barren land.

[MAP] Khrassus Catacombs [60x60]: For trying to become a lich, the dragon-priest Drakarogoth was banished to a deep and tenebrous tomb. Amidst the musty tomes of his living years, behind dozens of traps and labyrinthine corridors, under the corpses of the hundreds of workers who gave their life to achieve this tomb, the mummy was buried unceremoniously. The stifled corridors and sealed doors did not let any air through. Not a wisp should have been able to reach it and its accursed research. Nothing was to ever walk this grave. What the inquisitors ignored, was that Drakarogoth was already a lich when she was entombed.

Keep in mind that this list is provisory and things may be altered if needed! Have a wonderful day!

As a little teaser, let us end on this image for next month :
