2 - WHAT'S TO COME IN JUNE?

[MAP] Lost Arumvale [36x36]: The lost druid grove of Arumdale was forgotten by mortals for centuries. However, the fey folk never left it. Fauns, wood elves and other pixies often linger around the mossy ruins, bathing in the glow of the full moon while they drink, dance and chant. In dire times, the Court of Dusk congregate to hold council beneath the old branches. With battered wings, chipped horns or bark-like skin, the elders take their seat around the ancient cairn, honoring the traditions of yore. For what demented bargain do you seek audience with these beings? (+FVTT module)

[MAP] Void Church [32x43]: We tend to fear the unseen more than the known, the secretive more than familiar. And what is more estranged to us than the leagues that spawn beyond the starry sky? The Void Church was built on top of a lonely hill, near the town. Its chaplain – a rich merchant turned zealot in his olden days –  wanted to placate the wrath of beings no one ever saw or heard. He said it was the only way to save the town from annihilation. Local politicians and clergymen alike used to jeer at him in the street and make fun of his unconventional devotion to indescribable gods. However, one day, the construction was suddenly halted. This time, when night fell, none of the workers came back to town. The chaplain didn’t either. Something had happened up there, on the hill. This same night, you were tasked to investigate.(+FVTT module)

[MAP] : Mawlass Mesa [60x45]: The red mesas of Mawlass Crags sprawl for acres and acres under the blighted sun. Here and there, hidden from the searing rays by the frail shadow of a nearby cliff, puddles of water form miniature oases upon which plant life manages to subsist. From time to time, a thirsty beast that lost its way in the ravine would approach one of these pools to drink. This turned the canyon into a hunting ground for many predators, laying in ambush among the rocks, clinging to the cliff face or hidden in the larger cracks. Be mindful of your surroundings when you travel through Mawlass Mesas! (+FVTT module)

[MAP] Toy Shop [30x40]: As you meander through town, your steps lead you into a muddy side alleyway. Your eyes catch a glimmer through the tarnished glass of a nearby display window: rows and rows of strange puppets, unusual masks and peculiar miniatures. A small shop stands, its narrow façade seemingly crushed between the dilapidated houses on either side. Your curiosity got the best of you once again: you enter. Inside, once used to the musty smell of polish, turpentine and something else you can’t quite put your finger on yet, you gaze upon the bizarre shambles of eclectic memorabilia and toys. Music boxes playing unearthly melodies, leather balls, rocking chimeras made out of wood, lead soldiers painted with anatomically correct wounds, and dolls too realistic for your liking. You do a quick spin to orient yourself towards the door. Too late: your eyes lock with the shopkeeper’s. A rotund man wearing a striking purple and green attire. He greets you in a far too cheerful voice. You can technically still leave…but that would be rude, wouldn’t it? (+FVTT module) Inspired by Blinsky's toy shop in Curse of Strahd!

[Update on my Curse of Strahd module maps] After Argynvostholt, Van Richten's Tower, Saint Andral's Church, the coffin Maker shop and Blinsky's toy shop, I'll remain in Vallaki and work on both mansions there!

Keep in mind that this list is provisory and things may be altered if needed! Have a wonderful day!

As a little teaser, let us end on this image for next month :
