Hi everyone! I hope your summer is going well (despite the infernal heat in some parts of the world right now). As always, you'll find the monthly recap below. 1 - JUNE ACTIVITY SUMMARY

a - Map packs 

FOUR map packs were released this month, focused on a variety of themes :

[FORESTS] Lost Arumvale. Free members get the CURSED variation.

[BUILDING] Void Church. Free members get the CONSTRUCTION - DAY variation.

[BUILDING] MR. Zalieni's Toy Emporium. Free members get the HAUNTED variation.

[DESERTS] Mawghul Mesas. Free members get the ARID variation.

b - FoundryVTT

- NEW FVTT Modules - FOUR packs were released to OVERSEERS and above this month :

As is now customary, one FVTT pack for each of the four complete packs published this month (see above).

2 - WHAT'S TO COME IN JULY?

[MAP] Pastoral Hills [40x30]: The old hills near Dunholm castle always had a scenic, pastoral look to them: the sun highlighting the moss-covered rocks before disappearing behind the verdant mounds; the long, untamed grass gently flowing in the wind like hair; villagers and foreigners slowly walking or trotting along the lower path leading to Dunholm gate. This spot was well known to artists and lovers alike. Both often made for easy prey for the unseen beast that roamed the hills… (+FVTT module)

[MAP] Fort-le-Damn [60x45]: The Isle of Fort-le-Damn is lost in the middle of the Serrated Seas. Trade routes avoid it due to the strong winds that often rise out of nowhere near its coast and can last for several days. Currents surrounding the small island are wild and unpredictable, as if something was periodically disturbing the waters from below. For reasons unknown even to his cartographers, the Mad King built a small bastion on the island’s highest peak. It came at a high cost, in gold as well as lives. Yet the outpost was quickly abandoned a few years later. Abandoned…or rather, emptied, for no-one ever saw the garrison again. “Stay clear of Fort-le-Damn” any mariner worth their salt will warn you. [MAP] : Red Spider's Opera House [45x60]: The Red Spider’s Opera House was inaugurated with great pomp. Everyone wanted an invitation. Nobles, merchants, officials and clergymen alike. For months, some of the less renowned families in town toiled to get at least one person in that fateful night, even if it was just to man the cloakroom.  The opera was puzzling to most guests. It was written especially for this event by an author nobody ever heard of. The tale was a bizarre and disjointed tragedy. It told the story of a travelling troupe of performers who went from city to city, murdering their patrons in gruesome yet awkwardly lyrical ways. All arias sang this night had the same beautiful, ethereal character to them. The following morning, friends, family and passersby alike all reported that the attendees were acting out of character in odd, erratic ways. (+FVTT module)

 [MAP] Seaside Sewer [45x60]: For four nights straight, inhabitants of the waterfront have been reporting worrying noises coming from the sewer exit near the dock. Of course, the locals are now accustomed to all manners of shady dealings and slimy critters going around in there. The most recent echoes that can be heard in the neighboring basements are, however, much more concerning than usual. If one listens carefully, they can almost make out an inarticulate cry, a voice with something… human. Two members of the City Watch were dispatched this very day just before dawn break. They did not come back. (+FVTT module)

[Update on my Curse of Strahd module maps] Burgomaster's mansion in Vallaki is already started. A July release may be unlikely, as I'll probably take a couple days of in July so the extra release will be very difficult to fit in my planning. August is much more likely.
