YEEEEESS!! finally more iwtv <3

I feel so bad for Claudia. All she wanted was community and friends, and to escape the role of the little girl. She thought she finally found all she wanted with the coven, and as soon as they have her, they drop the bomb. They trapped her into the little girl role.

Armand really is the character of all time. He was all "Lestat broke my heart. I didn't dare love again, until one day, I met him... Lestat's ex-husband." lmao

rese

Ahh yes more iwtv! I love this show so much and I really enjoy your takes on it.

Love your reviews, thanks. FYI, Lestat’s maker was Magnus; Armand’s maker was Marius. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Between this and Kinn/Porsche, you two are going to need something really fluffy to watch next. I read all these Anne Rice Vampire books when they first came out (yes, I'm old) and I can't adequately convey just how popular and important they were, especially to the queer community.( Like Alex mentioned, there's a LOT of lore in this universe.) What I remember getting out of it was that Queer comes in a multitude of flavors, which was revelatory at the time.

Jenny Lukan

Speaking of Austin Butler, highly recommend The Bikeriders! It’s not canonically queer but definitely queer coded. Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, so good!

Jamie

What's funny (in a sad way) is that "dreamstat" is in Louis's head, so everything he says is Louis's thoughts... he was slut shaming himself with the "come to me, you little whore..." I was like oh, girl. :(

Chelsea George

For me, this has been the best show of the 2020s so far. Every episode this season has been gripping, the acting is outstanding, the sets are amazing. Each episode has had me questioning the characters, their memories, mental health, relationships... I've loved it

Olivia

just to clear up any confusion for you guys, lestat came from magnus and armand came from marius - it is mentioned here that magnus was one of armands ‘deserters’ from the coven and if im not mistaken i think magnus and armand are around the same age (armand maybe being slightly older), this makes armand far older than lestat but you will learn more about armands history in the next episode!

Saw the Vampire Lestat as a rock star put out by AMC+ earlier today. Sam Reid is totally Lestat, looks amazing and sounds phenomenal as a rock star. Can’t wait for season 3, it is going to be awesome.❤️🌹

Chelsea George

Would love to see reactions to the S3 teaser and lyric video once you've finished S2 😁

Gina Lipkin

I'm listing to this from the book on Xigxag audio books on my phone, it's Louis words, thoughts and feelings I can see how they are portraying the events from the book, enjoying the intense drama navigating being a vampire in the world

Liv

I found this show through these reactions and i'm so happy I did! i've also been watching a couple of interviews with the cast and their accents make this show so much more impressive. Sam Reid (Lestat) is Australian and Jacob Anderson (Louis) and Assad Zaman (Armand) are both English (Assad is a Newcastle boy). To be able to act like this while doing such good accents is incredibly impressive
