THIS WAS MY FAVORITE EPISODE YET GIVE ME HORROR AND THE GAYS ND IM SOLD !!

Bee

Lestat is so, so fucked up and damaged. He ain’t breaking the generational cycle of abuse, that’s for damn sure! (Still love him though, that’s my awful, terrible boy!)

IrmaVepKitty

It's key to remember that all vampires are made from trauma. They are all fucked up in different ways and act out distructively. Louis' anger caused a race riot. Claudia turned into a momento keeping serial killer. Lestat assulted the one he was desparately trying to hold on to. I love the complexity of these characters. This show is masterful in it's storytelling - so much more to come!

Kaci

I've been waiting for you to get to this episode. Your reactions were worth the wait!

Lisa Alex

Yup, it's the most harrowing one but not the most heartfelt. Didn't expect your reaction so quickly🙏

Allison

I love this show because it isn't really about being gay it just also happens to have gay characters. the show really tries to explore "otherness" and the effects of being outcast from society. it asks the question are vampires inherently monsters or did being condemned to the fringes of society make them monsters? it's fascinating!

Agreed. I almost quit watching this show after this episode aired because I was like "I did not sign up to see a black man get beat by a white man and then dragged by the throat like trash" but I am glad I kept watching. I still have a hard time watching that particular scene but I try to remind that they're all effed up.

Bookshelfaffair

Josh at the beginning “what could be worse”… well ep 5 everybody

Chris Metzger

I expect a ton of red flags on the YouTube upload. Lol This show always leaves me proper gobsmacked, and this episode was no exception. No spoilers, but girl, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Chris Mackenzie

This episode and the next few are by far the best. I was I particular looking forward to the review for this one and your reaction didn’t disappoint.

Soraya

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but worth keeping in mind that this is only one side of the story! Great reaction as always.

Jamie

When this episode aired, I almost stopped watching it because I was so mad at the domestic violence scene and how unforgivable it is. But I stuck it out by remembering that they're vampires and they're all kinds of effed up. When I said "it gets worse" this is what I meant. They do love each other though, as effed up as that love is. I think it's also important to remember that Louis isn't the most reliable narrator either. Who knows what he can and can't remember? That doesn't excuse the domestic violence at all, of course, just something to keep in mind going forward. Remember "memory is a monster."

So it’s been a month since the last Young Royals 👑 episode now. You have posted several episodes of the other shows. Can we please have Young Royals next uncut episode 🙏🏻?The episodes are already recorded and ready to be uploaded if I’m not mistaken Josh and Alex 😀. It would be awesome if you could post this show once a week like the other shows, thank you 💙💜?

Steven Jump

As others have said, the story is being told from Louis side of things and Claudia through her diaries. So it might not be 100 percent accurate. We have yet to see things through Lestat's perspective.

So my plan for the evening was to watch this and then watch the latest Fellow Travellers reaction. … I think this episode has done me in. Bloomin’ eck that ending. Love makes peeps cray cray. 🤪 Brilliant episode but jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

Gina Lipkin

Dramatic, insane, violent to the extreme, dangerous relationship, poor Louis and Claudia to have their lives entangled with Listard/madman, omg, lots to recover from, very rough time in this, how will it end with two more episodes? Yikes!!

Crystal

It’s been 2 weeks I miss your iwtv reactions 😭😭😭

Ginger Hermit

“Stop clicking!” 😂 You sound exactly like my mother when I pop my joints around her. Some of us are just creaky okay? 😂 Loved this! This was definitely a traumatic episode and your reactions were spot on. I think all of us were left rather speechless at the end. I look forward to your reactions to the final 2 episodes. It doesn’t really get any less fucked up though, but the finale is incredible! ❤️

ASWT are putting out loads of content! Of course not all of it is IWTV but the other shows they’re doing are great too.
