Update (Patreon)

It is the 10th of January and I haven't produced anything. You all have been beyond patient with me and I want to thank you for that.

I'm sick. Sicker than I've been in a long time. 

I went to the doctor today (3rd time in 2 weeks) and I wanted to share with you what I know and why I haven't been up to doing anything.

I've had a terrible cough. Like double me over, visions speckles, I run out of breath and wind up gasping and wheezing and feeling like I'm going to pass out. It's kept me up at night, I barely get 3 hours of sleep in a row if I'm lucky. I have some other classic cold/flu symptoms. Verdict? Upper Respiratory Infection.

Except now. I tested negative for Covid and Strep- but my doctor has ordered a second covid test. They also suspect it could be Whooping Cough. Yes, I've been vaccinated against both. Shit sucks. 

It could also be pneumonia as a complication from the URI, Covid or Whooping Cough (if either comes back positive). I go in the morning for an X-Ray of my chest to (hopefully) rule that out. I had to have a breathing treatment at the doctor's office because she was so worried about me.

The icing on the proverbial cake? I have an ear infection in both ears. Woo.

I'm bone tired. I struggled through work and collapsed into fitful sleep each night after I got off. 

I have the bare bones of my map planned, have the first "phase" blocked out and the second "phase" started. I've apologized for the delay before, and I'm doing so again.

I want to thank everyone that has sent me well wishes, told me to not worry about it, to focus on getting better, and checked in on me through the course of all this. I'm in awe of how awesome a bunch of patrons- and friends- I have. 

Hopefully Thursday will bring better results and I'll be on the mend. I don't want to make any promises about when I'll be releasing- but it will be as soon as I am able to focus enough to do so.

As a thank you... I have plans to animate at least a portion of this one. IF I am able to get it to do what I want to do, I will release it to all of my patrons, regardless of tier.
