I love this scene but I can't wait to see what exactly made Fiida so confident that she'd just show up in front of Kheil. Even though she must have some sort of protection, that attack surely must've alerted everyone. Also I'm impressed with Kheil's "lightning" reflexes. :-) Maybe her father's constant verbal abuse gave her a resistance to what Fallan did.

Kheil was the one who found out about the kids skipping class without any memory of it, and also witnessed Fallan being taken. I suspect Fallan was sufficiently out of character for her to just be convinced Fallan was brainwashed. As far as what Flida was thinking, when people receive the kind of pressure she's been getting to do an impossible task, they tend to try anyway. To an extent, they find out just how impossible it was. But also mistakes tend to get made that may not have been made with less pressure, that could potentially cause something that only seemed impossible to still be way out of reach.
