CRANE: I have returned from the Monarch Theatre. This was waiting for me in the box office.

???: Say it, Edward. Just like we rehearsed.

EDWARD: (breathing heavily) Strike one…

???: You’re going to have to try harder than that, Dr. Crane.

CRANE: Suffice it to say, I am disheartened. But we can’t let this shake our resolve. We will get Edward back.
