Yea I’m loving the arcane reactions btw! But I was really excited for the social network… I had refreshed my page and now it’s not showing up on my feed, as well as in the movies tab.

To Rob's question, I think Jinx/Powder is an amazing character. Not in the simpish way, though she is insane pixie goth hotness personified (everyone is hot in this show) she is just a well crafted character. Agree that Jinx in particular (but really all of the characters) are so molded by the experiences and environments, events outside of their control, and layers of real trauma/baggage that the deck is stacked against them having good outcomes. Powder seeing her parents killed by enforcers on that bridge when she is like 5 or 6, and that feeling of loss and abandonment, repeated over and over, left unmanaged just eroded her mind over time. I hate what she has become because you can see how brilliant and capable she but the world failed her utterly. Vander and SIlco are just as damaged and don't have the tools to properly help people cope and grow beyond it. Silco goes so far as to manipulate and feed Jinx's delusions which is truly diabolical. But even he is just an animate force of trauma and rage against what was done to his people. I don't condone his methods or actions but I understand where he is coming from; something I find myself saying nearly every day while watching the news or doom-scrolling these days which is simultaneously depressing and a testament to how well done this show is. Gonna drop this link to the acoustic version of Guns For Hire from the end of ep6, might be my favorite song from the series, except maybe the finale song. Went from not knowing who Woodkid was to being one of my favorite vocalists and producers. Alex Seaver wrote/arranged it but Woodkid elevated it with his production of both the acoustic version and what they used in the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG4Ec5xyQwg The Jinx/Echo fight music is also crazy good. the fact that Riot is able to pull talent at the level of Pusha_T, Denzel Curry, Woodkid and the vocalist for the final song of the season, which I will not spoil, shows how much they believed in this series. Even Imagine Dragon, who I am ambivalent to, delivered a title track that I ended up digging.

May I suggest a bonus to the final 2 episodes? After you guys finish it would be awesome if you would watch and react to the Imagine dragons video for the opening song. It’s very much a part of the shows story, and I feel like it would be cool to see your reaction to it, after the finale.

I really do like Jinx she’s deeply traumatized and has a load of mental illness, it seems like paranoid schizophrenia. You can tell though when she is talking to her sister, she is still in there, she needs medication, therapy and maybe magic.

I have a recommendation for you. Blue-Eyed Samurai. Netflix animation show. As it concerns innovative animation, I put it in the same category as Arcane and the Spider-Verse movies. It is visually beautiful, well written, and the voice acting is fantastic. Eight episodes and I guarantee you will love it.

I love this show. You can tell that the creators cared. Great voice cast. Ella Purnell as Jinx (Fallout), Hailee Steinfeld as Vi ( Hawkeye), Katie Leung as Caitlyn Kiramman (Cho Chang in Harry Potter). I can't wait for season 2!

The "friend" of Vi's old man, is the guy from the first episode who was being stumped on his deal with some dodgy merc types and Vandar stepped in. "Don't threaten the guy who poors the drinks" scene. It's kinda meant to show how bad things have gotten since Vandar died.
