I think some people didn’t like The Retreat that much, but I personally enjoyed it a lot more than the wedding crasher episode. I liked that Jen began to bring down a few barriers and talk to someone. As for Ribbit and Rip It, For some, this was rumored. For others, this was leaked. Others like myself foresaw this in late 2020 when Kevin Feige gave us a synopsis about the show. I speculated the possibility of seeing Matt appear at some point. It made a lot of sense to me because he also happens to be both a lawyer and a superhero.

The best episode is the 8th one, also the rest are fine, unfortunately the dissapointment comes at the end. Also episode 8 has the only good court scenes.

I'm not sure if you guys have plans to do DareDevil at a certain point but there is a multi season run that comes WAY before this but was only added to the offical timeline recently. There is also a new show set to come out that I believe works with the other version.

i hate to be “this” person, but you have to “get” the finale to appreciate it. i’ll give my comments next week on what it means. i hated it at first too but once you actually process why she did it, it’s pretty perfect for what the show is trying to be

I’m just glad that despite some of the negativity of this show, one of the best things is it peaked interest in Daredevil. Can’t wait for the inevitable reaction to it lads!

Don't worry, this is actually a pretty good introduction to the Daredevil character. It doesn't spoil anything for his series, only gives you a glimpse. Plus, Charlie Cox is sooo easy on the eyes...and a um, ahem, a great actor too. Looking forward to your watch of the show when you get to it.

For myself I waited to watch Daredevil, after watching She-Hulk it peaked my interest into the Daredevil character. If it wasn't for She- Hulk I may have passed by the Daredevil series on Netflix. Looking forward to the She-Hulk finale, I enjoyed it ❤️❤️ I watched the series more than once. I personally felt She-Hulk was refreshing to watch!

just throwing it out there but all of the Netflix Marvel shows have already happened before this point in the MCU and the further you go with out watching, the more spoilers you are going to come across

All the Jen's in the opening montage reminded me of Tatiana's out of this world performance in ORPHAN BLACK!! One of the best pieces of modern television out there. PLEASE consider watching it!

Why ? You said nothing wrong, the above is just my opinion, I've seen people that think their opinion is absolute, i don't want to be like that either :) The finale really bugs me though, I may have made too many comments about how much it annoys me. SPOILER.................................................. Thing is, I loved the meta ending in Deadpool 2, but they also resolved he conflict of the movie before doing it, imagine if you sat there 2 hours and then find out that the whole movie was pointless because they would just erase everyhing and solve the conflict in a meta way, that's what I don't like in She-hulk, the "bad guys" don't matter at all.

Ok I REALLY ship Jen and Matt! This intro to Daredevil for those who don't know him was beyond great and cannot wait for the finale, I don't mind it. Cohesion be damned! This show was a breath of fresh air!!

I am SO glad you guys are enjoying She-Hulk! This is one of my favorite MCU shows and I never understood the hate it gets. I'm inclined to believe people who don't like either didn't watch past the 1st episode like you said, or they just don't like this style of humor. Because this show is so funny and entertaining to me! I also have not watched Daredevil (waiting to watch it with you guys lol), so this was my introduction to Matt Murdock as well and I love him already. And Jen and him were cute lol Can't wait for the finale and to get to Wakanda Forever, it's a beautiful movie!

This is probably the only show I cannot force myself to watch with you all. As a fan of the comic book She-Hulk and Jennifer, this just kills my joy for the character. The poorly written legal aspect of the show makes it all the more unbearable. They even admitted they had no idea how to write court scenes at all. I have no idea how so many people are trying to gaslight everyone into thinking this is good writing. It's fine if you enjoy it, but that doesn't make it any less bad.

True, but some opinions are more valid and better substantiated than others. From a writing perspective, it was one of the laziest and most contrived piles of crap Disney has churned out in a long time. They turned She-Hulk into a poorly written rom-com with some even worse written courtroom drama added. All the initial confrontations with Trask from the comics were removed, along with any and all action that involved even remote tension at all. This is the show's FIRST season, and it already relied on cameos that were WAY better characters than anyone portrayed in the show itself. The writers even admitted to messing up the writing so they could stick a middle finger to the Internet trolls and had no idea where they were going, so they hit us with the awful finale. Like Angry Joe, I was excited for this show, and I got more and more disappointed as the show went on. Again its fine to enjoy it if you like rom-coms and fast food levels of writing. Consume away for all i care just dont tell me bad writing is good because you happen to enjoy it.

It's hilarious to me when people say the writing is bad in this show because from my point of view this has some of the best writing in the entire mcu. It's just so self aware and fun.

See my earlier reply, and it sums it up pretty well. This was not a superhero show. There was no real character growth for Jennifer, and nothing of substance was set up for the future aside from the K.E.V.I.N. nonsense they pulled from goodness knows where. She pretty much ended the season the way she started it before the plot allowed her any character growth at all. The problem isn't the setup or the characters themselves; it's the people writing it. They seem to have no experience writing a hero's journey, a court scene, or even a good rom-com to save their lives. Go read the She-Hulk comics, and tell me it's not a 100 times more tense and thrilling story-wise and that comic Jen isn't a better character.
