Finally more backstory on how the grounders came to be and even the language too. Not sure if you caught it but on the TV in the beginning of the flashback, they mentioned president Wallace, the same Wallace in mount weather, he said his father was president at the time the bombs fell. I really don’t think that Tristian is the same as the one we saw before unless he’s his grandson maybe. The Tristian from before looked maybe 25 at those most. Tristian was one of the grounders from India’s village, I think he was the one that went to the commander to demand justice when Finn shot up his village

Actually at the time this season was on or shortly after it ended there was a confirmation that there will be prequel spinof following story of Callie and the rest of what we got to know as "Grounders". Sadly not long after this "idea" was cancelled. Probablly because of ratings and reviews of season 7.

Even though i kinda hated this season and was happy to let it go... looking back at it now, this was probablly the best episode of this season, at lest for me and i would do anything for spinof

~Trin, I didn't think it was the same really, I thought maybe he could have been an ancestor of the Tristan we know, especially now I see people in the comments talking about an aborted project of a prequel who knows what they wanted to set up, as names and stuff.

maybe we will get it someday. Anyway it felt like dumb move to push spinof out after season 7's bad feedback. They might as well wait few years and then when fans chill out little bit release prequel spinof

'Call me Bill' comes across as charming... which makes sense for a cult leader... but even before the bombs dropped, even before he had Becca burned at the stake, he was despicable. The first bunker that Jaha, Clarke, & Bellamy investigated was on Bill's family property. It was for his followers at levels 1-11... and it was a sham. Jaha & co found it filled with bodies, long dead. Because Bill only ever meant to save the level 12s... and I guess he considers himself supreme at level 13. (When Anders woke him up in the previous episode... the lift went to 13.) The actor does a brilliant job at the easy-going charm over the megalomaniac underneath. Even his wife called him a 'narcissist with sociopathic tendencies'.

I agree, Trin, that's a strong possibility. I think the original Tree crew would be stuff of legends over the generations... and names passed down as an honor. For example, Callie's closest person was August... and Lexa's right hand man once, was Gustus. Perhaps a version of Augustus? I can definitely see the prequel intending to sprinkle in names we would hear later on.

John Pyper-Ferguson plays Bill Cadogan. He may look familiar because he appeared in Battlestar Galactica. In his more clean cut looks, mid-S2, as Captain Cole Taylor. He was CAG on Pegasus and had it out for Lee. Something like that.

After watching this show up to this point, I for real just tweeted Jason Rothenberg (the creator of the 100) and asked if he would again consider creating the prequel series

I think there was talk of “Octavia” gaining some weight in this season due to meds she was on… 🤷🏼‍♀️💜

Octavia does look fuller faced at times during this season. It appears more suddenly noticeable because those disciple warrior suits seem particularly unflattering for a shorter woman like Marie. Emphasizing a bit rounder face with her hair pulled back. I know she looked so young in Season 1, but was 26. After 6 years in the bunker + 10 years on Sky Ring, Octavia has approximately caught up to Marie's real age at this time -- 33.

I loved how confused you both where 😂😂 but I was also like 'No rob that's not him', 'you'll see' , 'oh Trin' I loved this episode , I know theirs mixed reviews but I loved being able to see before the bombs and how it played out with becca. Trin , keep an eye on your editing for YouTube over the next few weeks you'll be able to piece it all together for Rob on the next few eps lol also hope you're doing okay Trin after your sad news , been thinking of ya x

I love getting more Becca. She's amazing... the mind drives (originally, not what they were repurposed for), the blood alteration, the Flame. I've never ever thought that she was, in any way, a bad guy just because ALIE went rogue. Which was more on her assistant Chris than her. (It's why he killed himself in the lighthouse bunker that Murphy got trapped in.) Even for the 13th station thing, I don't blame her... everyone else was wrong or too extreme. Blowing up an entire Station to make the others fall in line. That's the bad guy. Her end though... poor Becca.

why would you guys even think Tristan would be there? This is even before Clark and everyone was born

It's unlikely with that specific character, but this show has many factors dealing with time dilation and age preservation. Not to mention respect for names and lineage in grounder culture. We don't know what they planned to set up lore-wise for the spinoff.
