Sorry Trin, that wasn't Sunfyre. No spoilers. You'll find out who it is in 2 years.

Them House of the Dragon people need to give us the other 2 episodes 😤

I believe Warner brothers is responsible for the shorter season :(

Valor

Season 1 ends with preparing for war, Season 2 ends with preparing for war 👍🏼

Btw this season finale is the second lowest rating season finale in all game of thrones seasons

This season finale received a lot of criticism for lacking battle and action, but I loved it! I think it sets up season 3 brilliantly. And count me in for a GoT rewatch Rob! ⚔️🔥 ♥️

Honestly, I couldn't be more disappointed with this finale if I tried. It's not a bad episode, but it is a horrible season finale. The show won't return for minimum 2 years and this just doesn't feel like enough to warrant the break. HBO is ruining this story by trying to force it to stretch into 4 seasons. Now we have an entire season that literally amounts to nothing; it is purely setup. I hate this greedy decision and I don't know if I have the patience to wait until 2029 or 2030 for this small story to finally wrap up. It's really, really annoying.

Thank you for reacting to HOTD season 2! I enjoyed this episode as much as I did with most of season 2. While some kind of battle would be fitting for a finale, I thought all the scenes in this episode are interesting and will have some significance to what comes next. Character building, the dialogue, and the interactions between the characters kept me hooked. And to be honest, I am not quite ready for any of the dragons to die. Viserion’s death in GOT is still vivid in my recollection.

I would love a GOT rewatch, count me in!

I hated season 1. But this finale? Holy hells this was amazing! Every scene had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. I gasped in shock multiple times and squealed in joy! This was an amazing finale! Yes we need to wait 2 years to see a battle but at least we know how it came to this battle. The payoff will be granted, we just have to wait a tiny bit. And once it's there? Fuck, that will be amazing!!! We know the characters, now what lenghts they are willing to go to. Had immense development from almost every single character this season. This was so much fun and everything I love about Game of Thrones! Who needs to see dragons die and people being burnt (which we already got plenty of this season) when you can have episodes so full of conflict, politics and character development?!

The Dragon Rhaena is about to get is called Sheepstealer, it is not Sunfyre, and it is over 50 yo and a wild dragon (no rider ever before).

Wait, have you guys watched Game of Thrones? I don’t see it on the playlists or YouTube? Are you planning on watching it after or?
