Comments

Anthony Ancona

A great first episode! I love Carol and Aash! Up up and away!

Tyrone Byrne

Just a warning guys, The whole season leaked so be careful of spoilers

Em Connor

Oh I didn't realize you guys were reacting to this as it aired!!! I'm so excited 😆

James

I actually prefer Daryl Dixon over the ones who live and dead city but that’s just my opinion. As much as I love Rick and michonne I would say it’s the weakest of the 3 new spin offs I love carol to death but playing off that man’s guilt over his dead child to make him do what she wants doesn’t sit right with me. He seems like a genuinely good person, also to answer your question yes carol is claustrophobic, if you remember the cave episode from season 10. The reference to Sophia in the barn is an insane call back, I can’t believe you guys are actually watching this live with us now

Bradley Weeks

yeah! Nice surprise. I love Carol so much. She's fascinating. She does whatever she needs to do to get the job done. I love that people underestimate her and she uses it.

Korivex

I like that the song the music box was playing, - you are my sunshine- is the song that Carl sang for Negan. I thought it was interesting that Ash's son's name was Avi, which is Siddiq's name in real life.

Miles

S02E07 was Nov 27, 2011. Shane was still alive. insane Sophia throwback. Been watching TWD since day one.. Great first episode. Tough lies from Carol. But maybe Ash will be happy with a new life, instead of sitting still. As Andy Dufresne put it "Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying"

Lolapie

Daryl Dixon is my favorite spin-off. I'm loving everything France, and how they're dressing Daryl in this series he doesn't look so grungy, dirty hence the neck tie. Can't wait until next episode

Sydney Elizabeth

It has been a long ride, the walking dead came out when I was 8, here we are in 2024 and I’m 22. It’s crazy to think about.

James

I really like ash so I’m hoping he gets treated better than the majority of characters that have popped up in these spin offs

SlipS_Tiger

Daryl Dixon is hands down my favorite of the three new spinoffs!

Kim Magee

I think everyone was just so excited to see Rick back, but personally I prefer Daryl Dixon to the ones who live

Kim Magee

And I certainly really didn't love the ending of the ones who live seemed to rushed

kimburley

Loving this series so much.

Kim Magee

It doesn't sit well with Carol either. You can see it not just in her face but questioning. Did he really want to do this? But at the end of the day she senses Daryl is in trouble and he is the only person that she really has a connection to in this world

Kim Magee

Yep it has and anybody that wants to download it. It's on lime torrents

Kim Magee

My heart breaks for Carol. I couldn't even imagine losing my child yet alone having to survive in that world while you deal with it, when she was playing the jewellery box, you are My Sunshine, if you know the second verse, it's quite a sad song, And would definitely hit Carol, hard over her past with Sophia ...... The other night, dear As I lay sleeping I dreamed I held you In my arms When I awoke, dear I was mistaken So I hung my head and cried

Lee Shafer

I just love everything walking dead

James

I can tell it is killing carol to lie like that but it doesn’t make it entirely right. I have a feeling she could have convinced him by telling the truth

Andromayde

I don't know if it's because I'm French but it's definitely my favorite TWD spin-off! Talking about France throughout the episode I kept telling myself that the nature around Ash's place didn't look like the USA at all but look like the countryside I know and indeed at the end of the episode after the credits a little making off confirmed that the parts supposedly in the USA were indeed filmed in France !! As a TWD fan seeing the walker apocalypse in my country is so cool

James

That’s interesting I live in the US I kinda just assumed they filmed those parts here

Driver ED

I remember the episode Carl sang it in. Later, in season 11, Maggie's son Hershel sang it too. I wonder if Maggie taught the song to a young injured Carl when they were at the farm.

Handsome_Man

Didn’t think you’d return so quickly back to this series! Yes!

Kamanda Hickey

Same! I am French and American (born and raised in France and moved here 8 years ago). I never though I’ll see the day TWD Universe would be in France and I am loving it.

Kamanda Hickey

I feel so bad for Avi because he really is a nice person who is doing what he feels is right. I also feel for Caroll because I know it's hard for her to keep up with her story especially because she never talks about her past. What a great start. I am loving it already.

thin grey sweatpants

I agree. She could've said Daryl was her brother. Another savage move by the ruthless Carol
