Another great reaction! Also why does Rob keep referencing them "changing the name" of M99? Is he referring to Dex using ketamine in New Blood? Because I don't think that was them changing the name, I think its the only sedative Dex had access to as a random normal guy in a small town. M99 if yall remember is only attainable with a DEA license when he was part of Miami Metro so he couldn't get that anymore in Iron Lake. But I could be wrong and I'm missing what Rob means!

Bit risky, wrapping his kill up in a huge auditorium like that, wasn’t it? There would have been so many entrances someone could have walked in on him. I’m pretty sure Harry wouldn’t have been okay with that. 🤔

In NB, when Angela finds out about Dexter's true identity, she's looking up the BHB killings, and the drug used is misnamed as Ketamine, when it was M99. That's the renaming that he's talking about, I think

Yeah Angel said it was used in Miami, that was what I was talking about. I thought everyone knew that or I would of been clearer. 🙈

Oh dang you’re right he did say that once. It’s a shame one mistake comment can completely retcon an entire 8 season show like that 😭 it would’ve been fine if that line wasn’t there because the ketamine in iron lake part was logical but not in Miami

A New Blood exec producer has said the ketamine thing wasn't a mistake. That Angela was googling what she knew... BHB and ketamine.. and that there were results coming up based on speculation about BHB using ketamine... because, supposedly, Ketamine and M99 often get confused. (I have no idea about that... this is just what the showrunner is saying.) He said that the article she read was based on internet sleuthing... a true crime fan site... because all the details on BHB aren't explicitly known (besides to us & Dexter), just different speculations. Of which ketamine could be one conclusion out there. Which then reinforces Angela's hunch. At least that's what they said after the fact.

No problem! I definitely feel like: if that was their intention (that it's not known what the BHB exactly used... so there is various speculation, including ketamine)... then they did a poor job of conveying that clearly.
