LETS GOOO ive been excited for this all day!

Kale

THIS IS ROB & TRIN REACTS!

Stephanie Bedworth

Been a long, long time since I watched this one but I remember enjoying it quite a bit.

Ashgar77

300 the movie was based off of the graphic novel by the great Frank Miller. The writer behind the best Daredevil comic run that was the blueprint for later that created Batman The Dark Knight for DC. Zach Snyder did a great job adapting this with so much style.

Michael Celia

I'll admit I got a gym membership after first watching this movie. Alas, 20 years later and I still don't have abs like that. Pro tip: the soundtrack is great for leg day though...

Nina

Lena Headey 😍😍😍

Kale

Denethor?!?! That is FARAMIR!!

AnGeLuS

No. This is SPARTA !!! 😅

Octavia

Thank goodness for her presence in this otherwise testosterone-fest.

AnGeLuS

I think a good counterpart to 300 is the movie "The Woman King." It's also really good. Viola Davis and Lashana Lynch gave a very good performance there. I mean, one is about the invincible Spartans, and the other is about the invincible women. You could definitely watch that one here, too.

Chris Erichson

Now you need to see the sequel which documents the Athenian Navel battle against Xerxes with Themistocles as the commander.

Nina

I don't mind a testosterone-fest. This is a very manly movie and I'm all for it. Don't care for The Woman King. That being said...I absolutely love her.

kimburley

For you “Losties” 😉, Xerxes, was played by the actor (Rodrigo Santoro) who in LOST, was Paulo from the story of Paulo and Nikki ( the diamonds; (no spoilers)) ❤️ Also, this was filmed in Graphic Novel style like “Wanted”

Bradley Weeks

I always enjoy when Rob and Trin comment on the music in a film. The score or song choices in a film can sometimes go unnoticed Yet they can contribute so much to a film. Their comments on the score for the Lord of the Rings movies (my all time favorite films) is one of the reasons I joined their patreon. I'm glad that Rob and Trin appreciate the music. That's one of the reasons I would like to see some more reactions to some musicals on here. Unfortunately musicals get a bad rap and I wish more people would give them a chance. They can be quite diverse in style and genre. Anyway, It was great watching this film again. Haven't seen it in years.

Ben

LEROY JENKINS!

Octavia

Wasn't dissing the testosterone-fest... just glad for Lena Headey's welcome presence amongst it. (Though I probably would rather be watching her in Imagine Me & You. Or The Sarah Connor Chronicles.)

AnGeLuS

I thought she was great as Sarah Connor back then. She was much cooler in the role than Emilia Clarke, for example.

I’ve watched this movie so many times over the years, and yet it still grips me and you feel it: THIS IS SPARTAAAA! 🦵💥 and still, even when I know what’s going to happen, i’m like UGHHHH!🗡️ P.S.1: God king, was portrayed by the beautiful Rodrigo Santoro, who doesn’t have that voice 🙃 His voice is velvety sweet and accentuated by brazilian drawl. But he sure made for a good spectacle. P.S.2: I vote to watch a very R rated movie so we can watch Rob squirm and fidget and try to look anywhere but in front 🤣🤣 The banter that could ensue between R&T would be priceless 🤌💋😜 P.S.3: They were very in shape, specially GB, but they were also heavily “enhanced” by airbrushing makeup, color grading and lighting scheme. Myth Bod, let’s say 🙃

MarySoul

maybe they’ll get to the Snyder’s cut of Justice League… I love the amazonian sequence of the protection of the mother box. Love it 😍 very female empowering in the same vein or spirit of this movie. So we can have something for everyone. 🙂 I like empowered women of the fictional or real kind, whatever the story may be.

Bram Hènry

Fun fact; my family has over 640 years of history in Lakonia 😆 I love this film and I’m currently having a Greek tattoo finished off!
