Rob's intro reminds me of Forrest Gump describing lieutenant Dan's family history in the military 🤣

Anthony Ancona

Yay! Been waiting on this movie! Thank you so much!

James

The one thing I did know about this movie is that it only had like a hand full of cuts they managed to film the entire thing without needing to cut often and when they did they did it silently. It adds so much to the immersion I wish other movies would do the same it’s so cool

Kale

Your consistency is inspirational 👌

Anthony Ancona

They deserve to be thanked, they get dumped on when they launch a poll. People always complain about not getting what they want. Rob and Trin don't have to do this work, so I find it's the least I can do but say thanks!

ChunkyTom

I don't think you noticed but the actor who played the one who was stabbed by the German pilot also played Tommen Baratheon in Game of thrones.

Superpotroast

To be fair he's a few years older and looks very different..

RegTravels

AI Trin strikes again!!! haha

Superpotroast

Yes, they hid the cuts very very well..Usually, when something passes by close to the camera or as Rob mentioned when most of the screen is darkness..But there is one definite cut, when Scofield falls down the stairs..

Wyatt Eldridge

If you liked this movie... another good war movie would be Dunkirk.

FedeM

I am not a fan of war movies, whatsoever. But I gave both Fury and this one a solid chance and they did not disappoint! Not a bad month after all, thank you to Rob and Trin as always

Nina

Roger Deakins. The Best cinematographer. One of the most talented people in Hollywood.

To take the example of France, I learned at school that there were fewer films depicting WWI because there was a lot of censorship regarding the acts of this war. For years, directors were banned from producing films about it. The first French film was "Les sentiers de la gloire " in 1957, so years later, while other countries made films much earlier. but other countries may also have suffered this censorship regarding WWI.

As someone who occasionally operates a handheld steadicam as part of my job, I've long been fascinated by single takes - genuine or simulated - in movies and TV shows, so a film like this is like porn to me. The technical side of my brain is constantly asking where the hidden cuts were, when they would switch from boom to handheld, whether wires were used in certain shots and how...apparently, in the climactic run sequence near the end, there were crew members in full costume so they could cross in front of the camera to facilitate the shot. Also - and I have to say this - Jack tried to get on the door with Rose but couldn't...it was a buoyancy issue, not a surface area issue!

Dunkirk is so good , have to try and get it in the next poll

Bradley Weeks

never heard of it, didn't vote for it, absolutely loved it. Great choice everyone!

Jack&Dino

LMAO… oh man. I kept seeing 1917 and thinking “Mam, these guys are really excited about that Yellowstone prequel. Love this movie, BTW.

Jack&Dino

Dunkirk is amazing. If you guys haven’t done it already, it should be very high up on the ones to do.

Neal Riggins

Love this movie. Glad I saw this in the theater. It was spectacular on the big screen
