I hate to see Angel like this, he is one of my favorite character from the original show. As much as I love Dex, he better not hurt Angel. That being said, another amazing episode!

Great episode again, I’m looking forward to the next one, the ending was insane. Honestly I can’t even blame Angel he’s seen the bay harbor butchers crime scenes, he knows what the kill room looks like and it’s identical to what he just saw. Also having Dexter being tracked directly to it is almost undeniable evidence but he can’t use it legally it’s so annoying. Its amazing how every time someone questions Dexter it makes them look insane but they are actually right about it, Doakes, Maria, now Angel

As someone who hasn’t watched or heard anything about Hamilton I got absolutely nothing out of what he was saying so I wouldn’t worry about it

The only reason Deb killed LaGuerta was because Dexter was 1000% prepping to kill her himself. If he didn't have her to set up a death scene, then a shocked Deb wouldn't have pulled her gun at the situation. She broke because she could never shoot her brother. The OG show let Dexter do terrible things to non-code strangers... but always copped out with a convenient intervention when he was otherwise going to kill a colleague. I also have no doubt that Dexter would've ultimately killed Doakes. But the show wanted to have its cake and eat it, too. Let's be honest... as if intending to frame an innocent man as a serial killer isn't also taking his life away. Even that was too risky though... and if not for Lila, then Dex would've had to do it. Just like he was intending to do to Maria. Like he did to Logan in New Blood. It's all on Dexter, always.

The facts of the deed matter. Dexter did NOT kill Laguerta. Dexter did NOT, nor did he intend to, kill Doakes. Deb had free will. She CHOSE to kill Laguerta. He didnt make her do that. She could have easily chosen to walk away. It's not ALL on Dexter. I'm tired of everyone who does wrong being given a pass while the ENTIRE responsibility is placed on Dexter. Is he at fault for most of the mayhem? Absolutely, but place blame for actions on those who carried out those actions.

The reason Deb killed Laguerta is because she CHOSE to. NO ONE made her make that choice. She had other choices, kill Dexter, walk away, arrest Dexter. DEB and Deb alone made that choice. Her reasons had to do with her feelings for her brother, yes, but they were still HER reasons, HER, choices.
