I was in denial right up until they did it. Ppl were saying it'd happen since ep1, but I was like no... they can't kill Angel. If anyone one day gets to catch Dexter, it's only right that it be Angel, but that's just it, isn't it?? They let Angel know the truth about Dexter in New Blood because they never planned to make Resurrection. Now they have Resurrection, it's a huge hit, they want it to go on for years, they had to take care of the Angel problem in order for the show to go on. It's not like they can spend however many seasons Resurrection goes on for having Angel chasing Dexter, it'd get tired, and he would never let Dexter go by choice. Even at the end there, we see that. And like... damn that's just a cruel turn of events, isn't it? We get the show back, but we lose Angel. Idr if I cried with any other death in the show. I genuinely don't. I might've cried with Deb, but I was also so angry about that that idk if I did cry lol. Angel got me though, esp because i've been watching other ppl's reactions so I just recently saw a bunch of eps that really touched on Angel's and Dexter's friendship. Like when Dexter says if he can be like any "real person", he'd be like Angel. I love me a good friends-to-enemies storyline but damn. This one hurt. But now Prater 10000% fits the code... Dexter's gonna kill him so hard lol I'm also very excited to see what's going to happen with The New York Ripper. There's only 1 theory I like, but I don't think that theory is gonna be true, but I do think TNYR will be the big bad of season 2 and I'm sure they'll build to that in a cliffhanger for s2 perhaps. So eager for the finale. Edit: also I didn't even notice they were making his hat until you guys pointed it out... that REALLY got me

RIP Angel. It really sucks he died, he was one of the greatest characters. This show has balls to take out angel and I give it props for that. I didn’t really see it ending any other way for him. In a weird way I like the idea of Dexter using prater to do his bay harbor butcher stuff. I can’t even imagine how this season is going to end.

Angel was pretty much Lundy since resurrection started, their stories are pretty much identical.

More collateral damage because of Dexter. Goodnight Angel. I enjoy watching Dexter have to squirm out of a closing net each season... But I've always thought that he deserved to be caught by Angel in the end. Angel, Deb, LaGuerta, Rita, Doakes deserved better.
