Alien Covenant 2017 FULL REACTION

Comments

They never did a third one and conclude davids story. Maybe with the current hype going around with alien earth and romulus they might greenlight it one day but I doubt

Bradley Weeks

Really looking forward to a Romulus reaction.

Had somehow never seen this one. Must've missed it. I like the idea that David is responsible for the actual xenomorphs we know and love from the original films (if I have it right - it's frankly a bit confusing). Michael Fassbender's "American" accent is distracting though, but maybe that's by design - it's a bit off-putting.

I liked Romulus... but I never felt fully invested in it. Good jump start for the franchise. But I guess, personally, I wasn't a fan of it feeling like it skewed too young... and copycatting so much from the originals even down to exact lines (a particular one was just unnecessary and put me out). I look forward to watching along with R&T though... could change my perspective.

The idea we don’t send competent people in our most expensive and vital assets is so annoying to me. And it’s been a continuing theme throughout this franchise. Which is such a pity. I otherwise love it so much !

I loved Romulus. The director of that film was a huge fan of Alien Isolation, which is one of the best horror games ever.
