Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides 2011 FULL REACTION

Angelo

I really hope you guys watch the 5th one soon too! This one isn't very good imo but the 5th one will be a good ending to the series, trust!!

I’ve always enjoyed On Stranger Tides. I never rewatched POTC without the 4th movie. It is very well-cast, and the story about the Fountain of Youth is great. Blackbeard’s in it, and the mermaids are cool. I am so glad you guys enjoyed it too.

The Tom Hanks Movie Rob was talking about is Splash 🙂

Yeah I agree this one wasn't as good as the next one I liked it better on second watch, And it was more fun. Just watching it now again with the reaction, and I have since swatched all the John wick which made black beards character cooler

I think what turns people off this one a little bit is the lack of having the original cast, But the more times I have watched it the more I like it, And I've always liked all of the movies and so hoping they do another with Johnny Depp, has been rumours flying around that they may take it in two different directions. One with Johnny Depp and a second one with a female version of Johnny Depp they were talking about Margot. Robbie, It was because of all the Amber heard rubbish before he was found innocent, plus they have the red-headed female pirate in the pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney which has become quite iconic and they had the female red-headed pirate as a character walking around the parks at one stage

Charlie West

I am so glad you loved it! As long as Johnny Depp is Jack Sparrow the movies are still worth watching in my opinion! Hope to see you watch the 5th (fun fact: the mermaid Seryna, the actress who played her didn't speak English at all so Penelope Cruz had to teach her on set!)

It's been years since i saw these movies, i forgot how good they were! Awesome reaction

Ponce de Leon is taught in many US history classes. He was a real 16th century explorer searching for Fountain of Youth in Puerto Rico and Florida. It was Ponce de Leon that gave Florida its name.

I haven't watched this since it first came out. I had forgotten most of it. Even though this one wasn't as memorable as the others, this one is so fun. Johnny Depp is just so fun to watch as Captain Jack Sparrow. I love the fantasy aspect of these films, and combined with the comedy. It just hits the spot right now.

Eve

If I remember correctly Jack Sparrow was never intended to be the main character in the first movie. The initial idea was more of a traditional adventure love story between Elizabeth and Will, with Jack as a supporting role (he obviously stole the show lol). I think it's one of the reasons people don’t connect with this one as much as the first three. Will and Elizabeth carried the romantic aspect of the story, and once they were gone, it felt like something was missing. I personally still like this one and the fifth as well!

I kind of hope that they do end up doing another. Jack sparrow pirates and then some sort of a spin-off or adding Margot Robbie as the red-headed female pirate from the pirates of the Caribbean ride as a love interest for Jack

Oh my God I love splash. Such a good cast to John Candy. Tom Hanks Daryl Hannah Eugene Levy
