The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift 2006 FULL REACTION

Comments

John Borek

Awesome reaction! This came out before credit scenes were popular, otherwise the ending would have definitely been one.

Tay

The actor playing Sean was like 23 at the time, he was just very middle-aged looking.

We are all with you Trin, Han’s the best 🔥♥️🤤

The quality of the F&F movies are ALL over the place and there are objectively better ones than this, also way worse, but this has always been my favorite. I wish there had been more quasi-isolated spinoffs with different characters. That Vin 'credit scene' was HUGE in the day too. That was a Nick Fury in Iron Man 1 moment. He agreed to do that cameo so he could get the rights to his Riddick franchise, and the studio also basically gave him creative control of Fast and Furious too. Also Han’s actor is really about that life irl, he’s pretty much playing himself.

In my humble, not-at-all-expert opinion, trying to drift a V8 muscle car is loud, smoky, and fun… It gives you a sense of control at the beginning and puts on a good show in open space, but I don’t expect it to be as clinically smooth as those lower, high-performance, newer vehicles. I don’t have that latter experience, and I wouldn’t want to, actually, because I’d be terrified of turning myself into a tuna can. 😅

The car he's driving at the end is a Mustang fastback 1967, while the car in the first movie is a 1980s Dodge Charger. I grew up with these movies when they were released, same with Transformers, two of my favorite franchises, and i loved your reaction to seeing Vin Diesel at the end, Can't wait to see your reaction to the next one "Fast & Furious" from 2009

AnGeLuS

A reaction to "Gone in 60 Seconds" would certainly be very entertaining, and we could see Eleanor again. 😄

Michael Celia

Fun but ridiculous film, but that's the franchise in a nutshell. It was once playing on one of the TV's at my gym and I got so distracted I dropped a dumbbell on my foot...

Farva

Ken Block (RIP) had a heavily modified Mustang that he drifted like he was driving on ice. You should check out some of his videos if you get the chance. Dude was an insane driver.

MarySoul

just watched the Ken Block drifts London directors cut with Matthew Leblanc and it was so good! Sorry he is no longer with us 🙏🏼 Love the sound and the smoothness of the movement on those curves 👩‍🍳💋… fantastic. Plus I learned about the red bottom, what a nifty little trick that is, and so very helpful for precision! Just fantastic, thank you for the recommendation.

Torron

Sorry to disappoint with the car Han is driving, Rob :D it´s an Mazda RX7, nicely modified! 1:14:14

If you don't like the fast franchise I can't trust you 🤣 It's crazy but its so much fun.
