“Dum Dum Da Da Dum Dum" .... Let's Go! 😊

Froziac

these might be the worst subs i've ever seen lmao def one of the worst

Michael Celia

Ah yes, the iconic Burj Khalifa sequence...it was always known Tom Cruise did his own stunts, but this is when he took it to a whole new level. BTW, Brad Bird is probably best known for directing Pixar's The Incredibles - I believe this was his first live-action film. And Rob, I know plenty of "analyst" types that go to the gym and can kick my ass...

Kitikits

Really enjoyed this one. The Burj Khalifa scene made me feel sick when I watched it the first time. So fun to see Benji in the field. I'm glad Julia and her storyline with Ethan carried over to MI4.

Rob & Trin React!

Yeah I had to auto correct them in my brain sometimes, I try not to read subs unless needed.

Superpotroast

I was about to say that they read like it was translated from Chinese really badly..And wouldn't you know a few minutes later when Ethan goes outside the Burj, that the subtitler credit popped up and it was some 'asian' named person..It was nearly every other word wrong..

Octavia

This is my favorite one. But #5 & #6 are pretty close, too. We needed more Benji. And really looking forward to their reaction to the continued 'Lost' connections. (Though it's a crime against humanity to deprive us of more Josh Holloway.)

Tyrone Byrne

simon pegg getting pegged aye? 😂😂

Nina

One of the greatest stunts in cinema history. Saw this on the big screen back then, it was mind blowing. Can't get enough of it.

Ugly Pig

Not only was the English dialogue transcribed very poorly, but the English subtitles for the Russian dialogue was missing in a number of scenes. All those scenes of people speaking in Russian, you're supposed to be able to follow the dialogue.

Nina

Yes it's the same guy from John Wick. The actor is called Michael Nyqvist. Rest in peace. He died in 2017 at 56 of lung cancer 😞

To answer rob’s JJ Abram’s question: his production company bad robot got involved with MI3, which essentially was the series’ soft reboot after the studio didn’t know what to do with it. That’s why from 3 onward all the movies have a way different tone than the first two. He played a big part in getting things rolling into a more serialized direction and stayed involved until the final two movies, which were joint efforts between Tom and a director introduced to the series as a writer in the next one. Also agreed Simon Pegg was MUCH needed as an addition, he brought so much more life to the whole series going forward
