Band of Brothers E2+3 Day of Days Carentan FULL REACTION

Oh shit double episode 👀👀

I can’t remember the full story but Blithe did 100% survive his wound. Here’s the story I found “Band of Brothers stated Albert Blithe died in 1948 because the other Easy Company veterans believed he died from his wounds, as they lost contact with him and did not know he recovered and continued to serve”

These 2 episodes were intense. Kept waiting for Captain America to show up lol. Would not have watched this show without you guys. Thank you!

What I find especially compelling about this series is they don't try and romanticize the soldiers like a lot of the older films of war. Some did atrocious acts. They were all human and consequently flawed.

Yeah, the Easy Company men lost track of him and since this show is based on the book that was from these soldiers, there is some inaccuracies.. Blithe actually got shot in the upper shoulder, not the neck..And he survived that wound, fought in the Korean War and died in like 1967.. HBO should really just correct this small mistake, they probably could if it's on a streaming service..

Fassbender was in the first episode..He plays the guy called, Christensen..I don't think he really shows up in these two episodes though..In Episode 1, he's the guy who drank from his canteen on the Friday night march and had to repeat all 12 miles..He had a good excuse though, because he's carrying the big machine gun..

I also have to wonder if Blithe's temporary blindness was not hysterical blindness, but actual blindness. Remember he was found in that field staring at the sky. A person that stares too long at the sun can later experience temporary blindness called solar retinopathy.

Your name makes me feel hungry and reminds me of my mom 💕 ~Rob

Your mom sounds like a badass if "Titan99snpr 1" reminds you of her Rob! 😎

She was my inspiration! 😂

As someone who has experienced total blindness ( for about half an hour or so) I can tell you I felt for blithe lol was sat with my friend in his house having a few beer's and a joint or two when suddenly everything went completely black, was distraught screaming at my mate " are my eyes open" lol thankfully my vision came back but honestly it was one of the most scariest things I've ever felt. And no, it wasn't anything to do with the drink or weed lol 😂

Yeah and to add to the confusion, there it was another Albert Blithe that died in 1948 who had been in a different company and maybe even a different battalion I can't remember. A couple of Easy company guys attended his funeral believing it was their Blithe
