And I thought babies came from under the belly button Rob. Because my mom had my brother through cesarean surgery and she had tapes. I thought she had to push so hard so the tummy would open up by itself so the baby can come out and then the Dr puts tape to close it. Lol 🤦🏾‍♀️🤪

I'll admit having seen this before, I'm only watching here for Rob and Trin's reaction. This movie is...unhinged is the only word I can come up with, though the last 10 minutes or so is a bit over the top for me, but that's probably by design. Perhaps the most disturbing body horror for me since Jeff Goldblum in The Fly... The makeup effects though...it should be no surprise that this film won the Oscar for Best Makeup...

I have never been so intrigued and disturbed at the same time. I absolutely loved this movie but I was cringing and wincing the entitle time. The cinematography and way things were framed was so unique I loved the style. Some of the most vile body horror I’ve ever seen, this unlocked phobias I didn’t even know I had

It could’ve done without that ending bloodbath scene. Everything else was really thought provoking and visceral that scene turned it into something you’d see in an 80s slasher movie.

Very bizarre movie but a great representation of how Hollywood actresses' pursuit for youth, beauty and perfection drives them to these extreme measures where they turn themselves into monsters and don't even realize it. They will do ANYTHING to remain relevant and in the spot light.

'Death Becomes Her' (1992) did it better. Similarly themed, but less body horror - more body humor.
