Stranger Things S5 Chapter Four Sorcerer FULL REACTION

Yes! Loving the mini team-ups so far... Hopper & El, Max & Holly, Robin & Will. Especially Robin & Will... the duo we really didn't know how much we needed. The ending here was so satisfying... I practically jumped up cheering. Really enjoyed rewatching with you guys!

We need a slightly lighter night after Monday and Tuesday. Lol 😆 🤣. Thank you Rob and Trin for your hard work! Love everything you do! ❤️

Aside from being paid presumably well for the licensing of the song, the streaming, song/album sales, and performance royalties of Running Up That Hill reportedly earned her millions. As far as I've read, Kate Bush is the sole songwriter, owner of the master, and owner of the publishing (her own company), she got paid for all of it. So to answer Rob's question about whether Kate Bush got paid…oh yes.

I think this might be the best episode of Stranger Things so far. Like my previous favorite episode, the Season 4 finale, it felt like the perfect culmination of everything the series had been building to for so many years. I have enough confidence in this crew that I'm sure that I will be back here in a few weeks to once again update my new favorite episode. Also, because you're now up to speed with everything we've known for a few weeks now... You had mentioned in a previous episode's epilogue about possible spinoffs. I don't know if you're actively trying to know nothing until it's all over, so all I'll say is the Duffer brothers have officially confirmed whether or not they plan to move forward with the franchise, and that information in no way spoils anything about the upcoming series finale in any way. At this point there is nothing you can accidentally learn from Google searching "Stranger Things spinoffs" that isn't public knowledge.

WILLIAM! This episode is in my top 3 of the whole series it was incredible, every second of it. I’m right there with Trin I rewatched this like 4 times already. Will and robin’s whole relationship this season has been a standout part in my opinion. He went full Vecna mode after that speech from Robin (badass eyes too). The montage of Will seeing the most important people in his life and drawing strength from them was really beautiful. Also it’s interesting to me how his montage was like reverse of what Robin said but her dialogue was paralleling it. She said she found a tape of herself as a kid she was alone but she felt happy and free, she didn’t need anyone else to feel that way. But Will’s “tape” showed him with Mike and his family instead of alone but he still unlocked his power. The Mike we’ve seen this season was the Mike that we needed for a while. For the past 2 seasons his character has been reduced to “El’s boyfriend” now he’s getting moments to shine again. Surprised you guys didn’t mention the one-shot take they did during that attack. Glad you came around to liking Derek he was really entertaining. Can you really blame the kid for running he woke up tied up in a barn after getting drugged lol.

Octavia

Derek really did go from dipshit to delightful. He now joins Erica and Murray as one of my absolute favorite side characters.

Rob: I don't think El is going for a murder-y vibe... 5 minutes later: El snaps tower guard's neck. (She did say sorry first.)

Stephanie Bedworth

The movie that girl is watching in the beginning is an old Disney movie called The Sword in the Stone.

James

The time in season 1 when she explodes like 8 different people’s heads at once

Bryson

Seeing Will literally take his power back from Henry, who traumatized him at 11 years old, was so incredibly satisfying. Can't wait for Vol 2 next week!!

Stephanie Bedworth

The way he would slap them with that yardstick to signal them to go to the bathroom. 😂

Les

So what rob was saying how they have will , eleven and 8 and the rest of the crew to fight vecna could just be easier than before , I theorize that there is something bigger we haven’t yet been introduced , you guys remember the drawing will did of the 3 headed dragon and mike , Dustin , Lucas and will fighting it off ? I think we’re yet to see something very special

Octavia

I've seen fans tell folks too familiarize themselves with the authorized prequel play, 'The First Shadow'. BUT... given where Max is hiding out and the 1959 glimpse... I think the relevant stuff from the play will definitely be incorporated coming up. So don't look into it if you'd rather be surprised.

James

I don’t think they’d make it necessary to watch that since it’s so hard for the general audience to see. They’ll probably make it understandable for everyone if they tie it in. I was actually lucky enough to see it on broadway right after the first four episodes dropped. I would 100% recommend

TheGrouch74

lets not forget vecna got the kids after all so he has what he needs, so even though we now have will and 8 it could be too late lol excited as hell to see how this plays out

TheGrouch74

Speaking as a Derek im so pleased to hear that lol were always misrepresented in just about everything in media lol

TheGrouch74

Pretty sure it made no1 in the charts after rereleasing it after stranger things did the max scene so she`s well paid for its use lol

WhatRabbitHole?

Derek leading a group meditation, periodically smacking kids on the head to send them to the washroom is a highlight of this episode. Peak Stranger Things. Also, so great to see Will and Robin's paths cross in such a meaningful way and to see Will begin to feel empowered, long before he becomes super powered. Joyce Byers trying to take the lead from Karen Wheeler in the most ass-kicking mom contest is also awesome to see. Just an amazing episode.

Bradley Weeks

Just love this episode so much. Only gripe is Nancy, Steve, Dustin and Jonathan get under used but I imagine they come more into play in volume 2. My favorite pairing so far this season is Will and Robin. I love that Robin's words are going though Will head as he takes control and the montage made me tear up. I hope they get more scenes together. I love it when the gays team up.😁

Octavia

How amazing that you went to see it! Very cool. I would really love to do so, someday. I was watching another patreon reactor... and they were told to go read the synopsis of 'The First Shadow' to understand Henry's background better. But I told them to maybe hold off because it seems to me... with Max's 1959 glimpse, etc... that the show will bring in whatever is need to know. That's just a guess on my part, but feels likely that they will cover why Henry is afraid of the cave.

Angelina Sargent

ROB I THINK YOURE FORGETTING HOW MANY PEOPLE EL HAS KILLED SINCE SEASON 1. lol That girl has snapped so many guards necks escaping from the labs and schools and from the people always trying to hunt her down. 😆

James

Yeah I actually went with my mom since she’s a fan of the show too. I trust the show will handle all that well. Also not sure if you know but the actor who plays the soldier El mind invaded also plays Papa in the play. I got a picture with him after the show.
